I’m 31 years old and I’m glad I discovered polyphia but I only wish I would have done it 5 or 7 years ago when they first started. Either way I’m happy I discovered them you guys have no idea the joy I get from playing Polyphia! Yes definitely better late than never.
i'm only about two months ahead of you x even though we are late the most amazing thing to me is that they aren't already headlining arenas and household names x i'm 64 and they are the most amazing thing i have ever heard xx
I was just thinking to myself the other day how fortunate I am to have discovered polyphia at a metal show in 2015. I grew up on 2000's metalcore, but polyphia just hit different, so they stuck with me. Now, at 33 years old, I'm about to see polyphia live for the 4th time. I feel very lucky to have followed polyphia through their incredible journey and watch them firsthand lead the way into this very unique genre.
What's the point? I've been listening to polyphia since they first released inspire ep and it's not like you're missing out on anything they made. You can always go back and listen to their entire discography. It's not going anywhere.
I woke up today and saw an ig reel about Tim Henson and decided to investigate. I discovered Polyphia and let's just say I spent my entire day listening to them. I am a fan... Especially of this one.
Tbh, this is my favourite song from Polyphia. There's just something different about this song, it feels like it's consoling me, telling me not to worry & keep going on... It feels like this song is telling me that it believes in me, & it knows I'll be successful one day. Idk 'bout y'all, but that's what I feel whenever I listen to this.
I know you guys are busy being musical Gods and all, but if by any chance you see this... just know one of your fans is in a better place now. #blessedByRenaissance #thankYou
I've heard a lot of music from all kinds of genres during my 58 years on this planet, lots of it absolutely brilliant, but you guyz are the best I've heard in years.

What a surprise to see Bittersweet in this album! Tim Henson did a great job the first time, but now oh boy.. The tapping at 2:30 was already hard enough to understand in the original song.. This is crazy.
I'm gonna say this because no one else will. Great work to all the engineers that worked on this project. Powerful and clear sound, some great tones captured on all the instruments as well. Would love to hear this album with about 3-5db less master compression.
+Mike Lord So many people have said that about the compression in comments on this album... I'm just getting into recording and mixing/mastering. Is it that easy to hear how compressed it is? Is that mainly in the mastering process? My friend told me not to compress my guitars because they are by nature compressed. Idk, just having a tough time being as good at listening to this shit as people who have been at it for a while and I'm trying to catch up.
it really comes down to taste and style...the compression is appropriate on this polyphia album for the style and modern rock standards. Truth of the matter is that almost all modern music is compressed rather 'firmly' and it is the sound that listeners desire it seems. And on the note of guitars, they are slightly compressed by the nature of how speakers work in relation to the mic diaphragm(if your mic'ing cabinets). that doesn't mean I won't slam them with compression if it makes the track work for me....it just all depends, on the day, how the wind blows, what you had for lunch, it just all depends lol. sorry for the long response, i got carried away.
This song sums up how I feel about recent polyphia, like I love and am hyped up for the new stuff but I really miss this type of riffage, like I just hope that they can sorta do a throwback album in the future with this kinda style of writing to it (Inspire, renaissance etc era stuff)
Awesome song! It took me forever to learn but it was worth it! Super fun to play If anyone is interested in learning this song, I have uploaded couple parts videos of slow mo playthrough with tabs on screen that is easy to follow
This song sounds like something that would play during the cutscene in DMC1 when Dante screams "I should have been the one to fill your dark soul with LIIIGHT!!!"
Actually it might be one of the closest songs they have to actual math rock (ppl have been throwing that name around a lot for technical guitar but they’ve even said in an interview they’re not math rock) if you like this you should check out Chon, Tom’s Story & Covet 💜
Sooooooo glad you guys decided to turn this into a full band piece. Knew you would make it sound anthemic. 2nd track in to my first listen of the album and its already exceeding expectations in a lot of aspects. True craftsmanship from you guys, i tip my hat to you gentlemen! Sick!
🎶❤I don't know, but for some absolute reason listening to this track by Polyphia makes me think about my dear sweet wife that I love so much. In fact when I made a special specific post about her on Facebook I was actually thinking about this particular instrumental.🎶❤
This song safe my entire life, maybe this comment will get lost in the others but I just want to say thank you for being here when nobody does, this song fulfill my soul and my pain and i hope i find my way to make it on this earth
The show in Saint Louis at The Firebird was absolutely insane guys. So happy I got to meet you guys and hear you live. I also want to point out that your tip box was fucking hilarious. I'll be on the lookout for the next show. :)
when I listen to some of there songs I hear M. Shadows from Avenged Sevenfold singing in the back ground I feel he's the only one that could match the tone of their songs. or Caleb Followill from Kings of Leon.
You have no idea how happy I felt, when I saw polyphia had uploaded all there songs
