Yes he's my favorite. The only one doing what he does. The commentary along with the "proof of concept" so to speak. Priceless. Bought quite a few products because of this specific channel.

Others can just willie nilly say oh this iem is great and so on but to actually give us a sound demo and give us comparisons is really next level for me. Others can go ahead and complain about oh it doesn’t give you the whole experience but this is as close as you can get without hearing it yourself in person. Granted you need a decent audio setup to clearly hear more differences but for me it’s good enough. Manufactures with good intentions will send this guy stuff so we can actually hear it for ourselves and make the purchase if it’s to our liking.

Great timing on this video, was hoping for the EM6L to be included, but hearing how the EA500LM also have that slight bright sound that I don't like a lot from my EW200, helps out a lot!

Just had my EW200 a few days ago, and got to listening... Got to this review, enjoyed it, and the fact that this (almost) legendary gem is not fatiguing as much as the other IEMs I've auditioned the past couple of months. But my alternative to it? Hell, I think I won't be able to sell it (my soul internally screams when I think about it), but I think I'll buy the EW300, once it's in stock, but maybe not during the pre-order ($69.99 - $79.99). Then, I'll have my first tribrid. Still on the fence as to which planar I'll start out with, though the MP145 is in my short list.

If the MP145 had smaller shells... having small ears is not fun in this hobby. Yeah, EA 500 is just too bright, metal was a bit of a torture. Thanks again Dan
That‘s it! And I personally don’t think, that it’s boring or not engaging at all. On the contrary! And the best: You can listen to more than 3 Songs in a row with it…😅 But to be fair, it’s possible with the 500lm too.
My experience with the EA1000 has been great. I considered my self treble sensitive because other IEM's produced sibilances in my ears... Paradoxicaly the EA1000 doesn't! even though if I had only looked at the graphs I would have never tried them, also the bass is more impactful and deep than the graphs suggests. If you are on the fence because they seem to bright or lacking bass would say try them specially the new 500LM is worth the blind.
I'll add that if you do decide to buy either, also buy up Simgot's tuning kit. That way, if it does end up being too bright, you can mod them using a combo of sponges and filters from the kit to help tame them down. Did that for the red nozzle. The silver red and gold nozzles sounded pretty much the same to me, so I modded one and kept the other stock so I can switch between the two whenever I want (wasn't a big fan of the black nozzle). 🙂
I had two, Shuoer S12 and S12Pro - and both had problems with middle. Vocals were clearly pushed into the background, and cymbals and guitars were always in front (ZAZ always sang behind the guitars). Or, for example, "London Kid" by Jean-Michel Jarre - there is a solo synthesizer from second minute and on the S12 it is not captivating at all, but cheaper Warrior C2 and Zero do not have such a problem (lack of emotions). P.S. I like the Simgot 200s more than the 500s, in the latter I hear some kind of synthetic tinge in the upper midrange/lower treble.
The MP145 seemed to have just a bit more punch on the bass side, just enough to notice compared to the rest. Not digging the Simgot sound overall. Not that it's bad, just doesn't do it for me. I do lean towards a warmer sound signature to begin with but not what would be called a basshead sound, just a full clear sound. The MP145 might be a buy in the future.

Great video Dan! I agree with your takes. The Mp145 sounds like it has better stage and it's pleasantly warm, but I do prefer the Simgot sound. Difficult to tell the difference between the EA500 and the EA1000 but I agree that the EA500LM is too tame and warm a trade off; don't like it.
I thought i was the only one that think it sounded like a fookin radio with antennas from my childhood specifically the LM.. I love it though. I would like to own it again.
I love the sub-bass and bass on my old blog BL-03 but it lacks on staging and instrument separation. I was feeling the ea500lm would be the upgrade but still hesitating as the Pula02 sounds really nice too... what's your suggestion ?
I agree with you on 7hz zero and ea500 and that the og ea500 is more enjoyable than ea500lm. ea500 is more open sounding imo and I liked the both the ea500 and mp145 here. (Glad I went for the galileo instead of the ea500lm:)

i would go with artti t10 over the s12 pro personally. $45 put some divinus velvet tips on ($20) and eq the sub bass up a little. i liked it over the ea500lm. on ew200 +3db 125 hz and below, -2db 250 hz. added bass balances out the highs. the veiled vocals on the mp145 is a non starter for me

In vocals I'd say but instruments maybe go to the s12 pro.....idk. its got more detail up top. S12 pro is more smooth in presentation but lacks grit in some areas....if that makes sense. Like the ea500/1000 have more bite to the low end and vocals

In my opinion all of Simgot’s offerings have 3-4db too much pinna gain through there entire product line so far for western markets and the music we enjoy. Some of there yet to be introduced models are supposed to be heard for us that like less ear gain. We will find out. Thank you Dan. Peace and a job well done.

Sorry to hear you didn't enjoy the LM. For me anyways, it was a definite step up from the original because it didn't have the strange presentation of vocals. The original made tracks with both male and female vocals sound very imbalanced to me; female singers sounded upfront while male singers sounded like they were 10 steps behind them.

This was also my experience. I ended up keeping the 500lm and selling the other two. Love the LM timbre

in what aspect exactly is the ea1000 an upgrade to the ea500 (as many say)? The ea1000 is just more nasal sounding. Nice vid Dan.

The hidizs MP145 has a bright and annoying sound. I bought it at the beginning of sales and I am very unhappy.
Sorry to hear you didn't enjoy the LM. For me anyways, it was a definite step up from the original because it didn't have the strange presentation of vocals. The original made tracks with both male and female vocals sound very imbalanced to me; female singers sounded upfront while male singers sounded like they were 10 steps behind them.
Maybe give the sonus a try. I think you'd be surprised
