Hi started watching your videos as my Ace pledge should arrive any day now and my brother and I cannot wait to start a campaign in LOD , we have just finished playing kingdom death monster. When we were kids we loved playing D&G back in the 1980s
Awesome that you continue this journey! My wife and I are just ahead of you story wise, finished shopping in Silver City! I was laughing watching you fight the giant rats who had taken that man hostage. This was just the reaction my wife had when we were ambushed by swarms of bats and snakes .. "Give us money to pass!" xD I had to wing in some roleplaying, telling her that these bandits had their pets do their dirtywork... my wife didn't really buy it 😅 Well, either pets or they were shapeshifters! Now she was on to it, haha! Next time such things happens though, I would probably round the numbers rolled on the encounter table to actually get a humanoid. Oh well, it was a fun story anyways!
It really was! I’m fine with the dice are in my favor and give me something easy. Isn’t always the case. I’m in the middle of the quest,/filming but the next dungeon starts with a bang!
It's nice to see a LoD being played again. 👍 FYI: Any hero that roll a 5 or less gains a +1 to the skill that hero rolled. Therefore, @18:50, the Ranger increases his range skill to 78 to 79. Until max skill of 80. (I think, It depends on the class.)
I had to laugh so hard at those three giant rats escorting that poor prisoner. Maybe they wanted to bring him back to the Brood Mother. Little did they know that she was long gone... Little rule correction: Attacking from behind gives you a +20 on your rolls (CS, RS, not sure about magic users, though, p. 99).
I know! Pretty ridiculous. Thanks! I begin to use this bonus in later episodes. Although honestly I didn’t realize I could in these earlier sessions. With a game of this size it’s hard wrapping my head around everything. I’ve slowly begun to add more and more rules as I’ve played. It’s been helpful but mostly it’s due to me, realizing that I could do different things.
Great to see you continuing the adventure. Could i ask what it is that you put under each standee as you move them, they sound as though they are plastic? Thanks 😊
Nice to see you continuing on with this game. I can live vicariously while I wait for the 2nd printing. Thanks!
Thanks! I’m glad I jumped back in. More to come!
Haha same here. Gotta wait till April to get the 2nd printing.

Thankyou for this, im waiting along with the others for second printing. im late, but not out.
Thanks for the video. Helpful to freshen up on the rules as we are about to jump back into our campaign.
Thanks for watching!

Thanks! Glad to be back at it. Yes indeed! Made a mental note to check on that and then added it afterwards.
@@saveyourgame5578: Looking forward to part 6!

Ah great, love to see it
Does the fishing rod give a +5 to foraging anywhere in the world? Something like that seems like it should only give the bonus if you're by water.
That was my interpretation. I just assume we found little fishing holes off of the road somewhere. 😂

Thanks for watching! I put the initiative tokens under the mini to remember which one I have activated.
Perfect hearing is first combat round.
Correct!
Somethiung tells me rats werenot supposed to be on the list, after all the encounter did state a team of men. now that might have be ratmen.
Strange to have them on that table for sure! Ratmen are coming in the expansion. Youre right they would have made more sense.
