I’ve been on the replacement hormone journey for over 20 years. For a while I was not good with the progesterone but have later realized it’s helpful and has other health benefits as well even if you don’t have a uterus.

Absolutely! There can be some benefits for women without a uterus to take it as well, if your symptoms are not being fully met.

Can you comment on why Injectable Estradiol is rarely, if ever, included when Estrogen options are discussed?

  • @lana8054

I switched from estradiol 4mg HRT cream to estradiol patch .05 weekly because I moved and there was no compounding pharmacy. Do you think they work equally?

What about Estrogen positive Breast Cancer survivor? My dr. will only give me topical estrodiol (reluctantly). Can I safely take estrogen pills?

Hi! This is definitely a more nuanced conversation. We have some videos on this topic and faqs on our options for survivors at myalloy.com/breast-cancer-faqs

Another great resource on this topic is the book, Estrogen Matters. Dr. Bluming (one of the authors) was an oncologist who treated breast cancer patients. I highly recommend the book, so that you can learn what the data actually shows, even in those who have had breast cancer. Good luck to you.

@@monicacase-harman1917 I think more importantly we need to get the doctors who treat us to read this book. I made mention of estrogen to my dr. and she said absolutely no. I wonder if Alloy will give an RX. Not topical, I have that....

I'm ok with aging the way God designed it (after the fall in the Garden of Eden). Food, sleep, exercise are our meds, we don't need overpriced, unnatural prescriptions to live healthy, functional lives. Why are women so afraid of aging naturally? Peace!

I appreciate your love for God. But I want to be as energetic and live as long as possible because I have a lot of service to do for Him. I owe Jesus so much ; though I know His love and His finished works are a free gift. ❤
