- In this video, I review the 2024 HAVOC 1756 MSTC paired with a 40hp GatorTail Surface Drive! I went with this model as it's their "mud edition" with the inverted ribs and extra I-beams! I know I'll be getting shallow so I paired it with a surface drive! I cannot wait to make NEW content with this UNIT! Let me know down below what kind of videos you would like to see with this boat!

for interior lights i would recomend red LEDs as red light doesn't tend to disturb your natural night vision as much. very nice for duck season and those early mornings when the birds start moving.
Appreciate the info!
Man you got me thinking about surface drive vs outboard now
Great review! That is the exact setup I am about to get!
Appreciate it, you won't be disappointed!
I got a similar rig this year (havoc 1653 dbst with mud buddy hdr 40 EFI) and was glad I didn’t get the mstc. It turns super good and I run everything from super shallow mud and flooded timber during duck season to big water in the summer fishing. This is my first mud boat and I’ll be making a video soon on it! Nice rig man you’ll love it!
Appreciate the information!
Must be nice!
Im looking at a similar setup, now that you have had a chance to use it, what are you getting for speeds with just you and with a load?
southern lite led for any lights.nice rig
Appreciate it, thanks for the recommendation!
@@ftmikeytno problem
Amazon there cheaper
@@jarrett2williams689not the same quality
What dealer did you go to? I haven’t been able to find one online with the gator tail gtr
Drop your motor all the way down as far as it'll go get it get on the plane and slowly tilt your motor up until you're riding level
Appreciate the info!
@@ftmikeyt I'd also drop the stock rear tilt pin to the bottom and get the mercury quick lock tilt pin, or buy one someone made, so you can adjust the angle of the motor on the water considering different conditions you may find yourself in, wouldn't advise doing it while motor is running, gotta reach back and grab the top of the the splash guard and lift up and reset the pin or pull it to where you want (i.e., more down and up trim ability depending on where you set it). Pull the quick rod out and let it lean to the bottom of the four holes on the stock pin if you really get into some nasty mud.
Nice rig congrats. hmu next duck season I’ll show u sum fire spots. I live right here in Ramsay, I mainly hunt out n mauapas wma in Ponchatoula and sometimes pearl river.
Thanks! Will do, it's all new to me!
nice rig man
Appreciate it!
Needa take me next duck season 😭
Im in the market for a good used unit similar to that but im in the north east and not many around .I would travel for the right rig .Terry
Highly recommend!!
Is it easy and comfortable to drive? Always wanted a mud motor. Never driven 1 before.
It's heavy for a 40hp motor. It took some time getting used to. It has a lot of torque but I haven't put it in a bind yet so I'm not sure how "easy" it is under a load. Also, much louder than any outboard motor
Where did you find the best deal and people to deal with ?
Smith Motors in Hattiesburg MS is the place to go. Great service and great people...They have a bunch of differnet Havos in stock as they are a Havoc dealer......
Very nice review and boat.
Thanks!!
👍
What’s your top speed?
Haven't calculated it yet but I would assume low to mid 30's!
