@@bayouboysla hell yea have to keep checking for new videos. I ordered a prodigy a few weeks ago and running a gtr40. Was wanting to know what 2 blade you use and pitch also for your exhaust are you enjoying the stainless. I’ve been up in the air between that one or a voodoo with a baffle. What are your thoughts
I'm running the Marine Power 2 Blade. It's 12.75" x 10P @bobby_world0776 I love the sound of the Stainless Works. To me, the other exhausts are just way too loud and obnoxious, but I'm sure those are the ones I would have loved 20 years ago. Lol
@@bayouboyslathank you for getting back with me on that! I will look into getting one of the props ordered. Also I’m in the same boat with you on voodoo I’m gonna be 36 in jan but I definitely don’t want to have something stupid loud where it makes it hard to communicate or beat everyone’s ears off that’s in the boat.
I have never seen one of these boats up close and no one seems to be able to ever answer my question. maybe you can. that bar that goes across the deck from one side to the other. how does water from the bow side get to the other side being the stern side? if you were throwing a cast net and bringing it in forward of that bar there would be a lot of water on the deck does that water pile up or does it magically somehow go under that bar that goes across the middle of the boat deck. I've asked this of a dealer and he couldn't give me a straight answer. .
There are slots in the floor. It's a "false floor" and the water gets under it there and makes it's way to the back of the boat. Hopefully that helps you out, because I also throw a cast net out of this one.
@@bayouboyslaoh ok. No one ever shows those kind of details. especially the ones I'm always looking for. appreciate the time we come back it helps to see one I have to drive 2 hours. thanks!
The strips are Seelite Sabers. I run them all on my cranking battery. I also run a voltage stabilizer between the battery and the Yak Power control module. I had issues popping fuses before I installed that. Now no issues at all with any of it.
You bet! I forgot about the battery question. I'm running an Interstate 12V lead acid cranking battery. Up front for my TM I'm running a lithium 24V so all of my accessories are ran off my cranking battery. I do have a step-down converter on standby in case I need to move anything to the lithium, but I haven't needed to yet.
I know more about the GT than I do the others. But the biggest reason is because of my dealership. They have a great relationship with GT and I have a great relationship with them. I think it's honestly a Ford/GM/Ram situation, though. That being said, I do love this engine and this boat.
@@bayouboyslalike your setup bud, I am debating between the single motor setup or dual motor setup. Also something that can handle freash and salt and still work like a tank. Can you please post links for the lights ?

Beautiful boat
I have a custom Gatortail 1750 Extreme cutdown hull with a GTR 40…….you will not be disappointed with your rig.
Can’t lie that is a good looking boat. Almost pulled the trigger on a gatortail.
Thank you, sir. I still love it so far, and I've been steadily getting it more setup to my liking.

Sweet rug man. What kind of light strips are those? Also, what battery do you run and do you have any issues running accessories for long periods?

Nice boat. Can you say why you chose this motor over the pro drive or mud buddy? Im looking to build for same purposes as you.

The front light and the rooster tails came from Southern Lite LED. The interior/exterior blue lights came from SeeLite.
What app do you download to Bluetooth your lights, accessories, etc?
I just bought a boat very similar to yours from Ludwig. @bayouboysla
if you dont mind me asking how much did a rig like this cost?
Anywhere from 25k and up, depending on the options and accessories.
Do you have a link to that edge trim?
