for the platform at 2:43, here's two workarounds i've found to save time one workaround i've found is you can put a portable waypoint in front of the artifact spot at 2:57 so u can teleport to it. you will need to craft another portable waypoint and place it again at this spot every 7 days. the other workaround i've found if you're lazy to craft portable waypoints or lazy to farm mats to craft them is this: before you start collecting artifacts from 1:57, go to the platform at 2:43 and activate the platform. as the platform is starting to go down, step out of the platform and backtrack all the way to the area at 1:57 (do not teleport) and then you can start collecting artifacts and go from there. you should prolly start your artifact routing for the day in the area starting from 1:57 with this second workaround i've found so u can save time instead of doing the 1:57 area in the middle of your artifact routing.
That's a very interesting strat! Thanks for sharing. I've found that after collecting #3 and #4 from that area the elevator is already all the way down, so there's no need to leave all the spots for while the elevator is moving. Actually, even if you just collect #4 and come back, the elevator's almost low enough to pass through already!
@@Graph066 Oh, that's nice! Good to know that. Also, I just wanna say thanks for posting your Fontaine artifact spots videos. Because of them, I managed to put together a new second artifact route that's 5 minutes faster than my old second artifact route. My old second artifact route used to take 20 minutes lol
Thanks for posting these spots. I've used a lot of the 4.1 to replace some spots since I don't have Wanderer, and I find Varanara to be confusing as anything. Also, most of the 4.1 spots are Mora+artifact spots which actually gives you 50/50 on getting 2* worth of artifacts. The green artifact spots IIRC only gave a green artifact 40% of the time (I did this testing a long time ago, so maybe the drop rates have changed), so technically, the mora+artifact spots will give you more fodder assuming my testing is still correct.
I ran a similar test back in early Sumeru, and did find the bonus rate to be close to 40%. Tbh though, I still don't really know how many double 1-star spots there are in the route compared to 2-star spots. I don't know if the rates are different for those two kinds.
@@Graph066 Most of the Sumeru spots are of the 2-star artifact variety. A lot more of the Liyue and Fontaine spots are double artifact + Mora spots. If you're curious to know how many of each there are on the routes, I can calculate them for you as I saved how many of each there are. For example, in Seiraimaru there are 16 green artifact spots and 1 mora+artifact spots. The National Fontaine Research Institute Tower has 5 green artifact spots and 4 mora+artifact spots. Oh, and I guess I meant to say that I replaced some of the Sumeru routes with Fontaine routes as I noticed that one of my favorites was the Institute of Natural Philosophy which is a 4.0 route which your 4.0 video helped me to find.
@@frankjiang1857 Nah, I'm not that curious, but thanks for offering. Even if it's between 40% and 50% chances like you say, it's not enough to adjust the routes over. I'm glad the new spots are helping! That's why I've been keeping up to date with the videos and Route Planner.
@@Graph066 Yeah, that makes sense. I also have prioritized speed over eking out that slight improvement in mora and artifact leveling though if the times are similar, I'll look for more mora+artifact spots. It's not like the differential you get when farming crystals in the Chasm (2.0x!) vs. farming crystals in regular Teyvat (1.15-1.25x).
Haven’t heard you mention the ones in the Kuisel’s clockwork workshop in 4.1 which can net 8+ artifacts. Elevator entrance can take awhile, but I feel that using a portable waypoint to bypass that spot can make that spot have some potential.
If we're using Portable Waypoints, it would have to be a pretty amazing spot. Since Portable Waypoints became a thing, we've been able to stick one in the Bishui Plains wine cellar and have 5 within arm's reach. Or use it to save time in Tatarasuna or Khemenu, since those extensions have large stretches of running/gliding.
I'd say the core of the artifact routes was already established back in 3.1, but new stuff has been appearing gradually since then. Out of the 259 spots I have planned for the 2 route strat, 63 of them are from Version 3.4 or later.
It's not a perfect solution, but I set it like that so most spambots don't bother with my channel. Does it work if you remove the "h" from the start of the url?
Wait, you're the one who sent me the bilibili links 2 months ago. So you want to use Discord because the link thing is troublesome. I haven't used Discord in a while, I'll get it set up later today.
Can't wait to see the new route. I've been doing old artifact spots for a while so I'm excited to learn a bunch of faster spots

I haven't updated either of my routes since 3.1... definitely interested in what the current optimal routes look like.

I saw a video on 8min for 140+ artifacts. If you could make a 2 best routes (most artifacts per day). it could be a really interesting video.
Thank you!
