Aristotle saying " i want to kill the neighbor" in Greek had me laughing very unexpectedly. Great attention to detail
Thanks for deciphering it, Christos. I missed that. It sounded Greek but I figured it was just gibberish. 😄
@@Yanni75it wasn't the best pronunciation but i admire the effort
To be pedantic, Milos is not a Greek name😀. Maybe slavic?
@@vasilisnalbantis its slavic
@@vasilisnalbantis it is supposed to be a last name, so it't not that bad and it could even be an americanized version of a Greek name, since many that migrated there ~ a century ago, had their names changed, or even more recent for various reasons. Lile Georgalis became Galis (in the case of Nikos Galis, the basketball hall of famer). PS. The Greek were indeed a bit off but good effort! :) It was indeed a nice toutch.
Kate doesn't even have to say anything, she just appears on screen as a 4' tall woman behind a podium and I'm cracking up.
I immediately started cracking up!
her fiddling with the papers... after that, I bursted out laughing
Channeling Lucy,,,
Chloe almost breaking just at the sight of her took me out!
“B!tch I don’t need it, I was just asking as a courtesy” the realist statement ever made at a tenant assoc. meeting 😂 She was just giving her neighbor a heads up.
LOL
I somehow appreciate the courtesy given. How thoughtful ☺️
ego’s braids only being half-done was such a great touch
... because the yappy dog interrupted her... here's your helmet
Either they're half done or she was in the middle of taking them out. I've worn cornrows/extension braids before and there's really no difference.
Been scrolling down and I think this is the only post I've seen that mentions her. Her bit was one of the funniest too.
@@datgrrl_officialhe’s pointing that out in his comment. That lack of social awareness ironically is usually for helmet wearers.😊
@@datgrrl_official can i just borrow yours?
I love a sketch like that has the whole cast. So happy to see everyone jump in and show off
Would be a good regular skit; seems like a good way to test out new characters.
almost not quite che and cuteboy chickened out
Man I had the exact opposite reaction - I didn’t realize how shallow the talent pool had gotten until this sketch put it on display. Bummer.

Every single sketch with Willem Dafoe is just great! He is SUCH a good actor!
He's Awesome!
He didn't live there?
He barely appeared here tho
Any SNL sketch of a podium open to the public is bound to be great
SNL is ghaye
Always comedy gold
The Democrats base. Love it!!!
@@jacobsteele7138 "Angry at nothing" is the Republican mandate these days. Mad at books, people dressing how they want, loving who they want, teaching about racism, etc. That's the Republican party in a nutshell.
@@jacobsteele7138 But I really love you old people with a foot in the grave spending so much time whining about a TV show on the internet. Hilarious!!! Tick tock!
literally a perfect sketch to show off the whole cast, every single person killed it!!!
Jamarcus Redd, killin' it as usual in this sketch! 🙃
I think the joke that his name is just Marcus would work better than robert, personally.
@@heytherescooterboys922 Maybe, but they were trying to point out just how clueless the white tenants were.
@@penguincommunity6218 I feel that. Robert is funny because it's the anthesis of jamarcus, but I think white people adding ja- to Marcus is a stronger joke. But what do I know? They're the professional comedy writers and I'm commenting on RUclips videos lol
Bitch I'm from new York
I love that he threw us whites the “Not All White People!” bone.
We get REALLY upset if that’s not explicitly stated 😂😂😂
I work in property management and this is 100 percent accurate! We have an old lady that pays 400 a month for a three bedroom and the person above her pays 3400.00 a month.
Yeah section 8 does that
Good for the old lady! $3400 is obscene
How much now? Lol
What y?
Can't be possible! Old ladies pay just as much but they don't know how much they pay cause they refuse to get an email
It must be in Kate’s contract to only play old women if she gets to mention cats.
Or have cats on the set (or in the case of that one "SNL Stays at Home" episode, use her real-life pet cat, Nino Positano).
It isn’t Kate, it’s Kate from the future.
Pretty sure the "regular Kate" is an act, and she's really just an old cat lesbian.
Kate is spot on. She speaks for all of us in this skit. From now on however, small purse sized dogs and the metal carts with the huge wheels for bringing home groceries must also be mentioned.
People laugh just at the sight of her. Someone forgot to explain to them that women aren't funny. Why is snl cast like 75 percent women and lgbtq nowadays. It literally makes no sense, but helps explains why it's awful now.
This is the most authentically NYC sketch since Mulaney’s broadway musical tribute to bodegas 😂
And the recent subway one.
@@canaisyoung3601 YES! I was so blown away by how much it resembled the 34th St./Herald Square F platform (both in the set design and the nutters at the station, lol)
this is BElgrade
Kate McKinnon playing an old woman gets me every time 😂😂😂
She is SO funny. ..."change the cat policy from 3 to 75". LOL till I pee.
@Salt Hmm yes someone will definitely read that whole thing
@Salt did your grandson forget to refill your meds this week?
@Salt I'm gonna assume you mean well (since I'm not reading that block of text) but you have got to work on how to relate to other human beings, my dude.
Kate McKinnon has run her course. Enough already
"IT'S BEEN 10 YEARS, WHEN ARE WE GETTING FIOS" isn't even a joke. I was on the phone with them every week for 2 years, and the main box was 100 feet from my window! The engineers literally gave me their cell numbers and knew me by name by the time I finally got it 😂
WOW!!
I AM SO GLAD YOU FINALLY DID..
NEVER EVER HEARD OF SUCH IN THE STATES.
THAT IS PITTIFUL AND TRUST THEY ARE MAKING THEIR MONEY. SOOO WHAT IS THE ISSUE?
@@lisaantenett5762 EXACTLY
Would you kindly explain what this is about? I don’t feel like googling it
@@sunofpeter2 FIOS is Verizon’s Fiber Internet service. Provides SUPER FAST internet, blazing speed, in the Gigabits per second range IIRC, but the thing is they’ve been promising it for years but it seems like no one has it.
most of the midwest/utah still don't have dsl, they only gots aol dial up noise.
i love the structure of sketches like this because it allows them to showcase the talent of the younger cast members
The one new chick who just yells all the time doesn't have much talent.
And show characters. More!
@@robj2027 thank you. Shes terrible. She always laughs while shes delivering. Because she is the only one who thinks shes hilarious. Not. Yeller.
Yes. It clearly shows how unfunny these dudes are. Need to get mckinnon a backpack. Carrying the whole show of untalented weenies
All the young actors suck !!!! The audience will laugh at anything.
I love the fact the Melissa's character was excited about paying 5,000 rent payment for an apartment with no toilet or windows !!! 🤣😂😆
Well, it's really bargain!
OMG,No Wonder So Many New Yorkers are Coming Down to Florida Especially to the 305.Lower Taxes,Lower Rents,Lower Crime,SNL Nails it,We Need More Tenant Meetings Definitely!.Please.

Defoe was great as the host! His old school New Yorker brought back the 70"s NYC crime dramas back to my mind.Classic.👍😀
DEFOE RAD! Great character!!
Loved the nuc iggy pop cbgb reference. I know people like him!
Great Skit, Like Defoe, he was funny here!

Bought the top 3 floors for 11 dollars.
No lie detected.
Kate can just look at another cast member and make them break 😂 She is something else! I love her 😂
Aristotle was the funniest one hahaha. His mannerisms crack me up. Each character he does kills it.
This was hilarious. Aristotle's timing is always on point.
Keenan as Mr Carson is hilarious 😂! The "Oops" was lol funny 🤣
Keenan!!!!
I hoped that was going to be his only line
Aristotle and Sarah killed me in this sketch. Jan Krang never gets old. I love these sketches
Ego with half her braids done is killing me 😂
Love love lover Ego!
I was hollering! I had just said this to my Neighbor about her barking mutt! Lol.......
Ego is always iconic!

Ego is the best
Chloe nearly lost it seeing Kate 🤣. Good to see Jan K R-A-N-G.
Funny sketch; loved it.
That Verizon FiOS bit is not a joke. That's just a thing most New Yorkers are still pissed about.
Not just in NY, anywhere there’s supposed to be FIOS. It’s a fight. But when you win, it makes life slightly better.
It took my co-op seven years, two complete board turnovers, and multiple complaints to the utility commission before Verizon finally got off their ass and installed that sweet fiber.
@@ClicketyClack that's dedication
That’s nothing, they stopped the fiber lines across the street from me here. Neighbors across the street have 1000 up and down, my options are comcast 150 down 5 up or century link 24mbps down 1.5 up.
What's fios? 🤔 We're still stuck with AOL dial-up.
I love this type of sketch: it gives everyone a chance to shine.
In all fairness I’d be super peeved too if there was usually coffee and munchkins and they were absent.
Same reason I stopped going to the circus.
...and in front of Alex is a cup of Mc guffin.
Here here..: I only go to weddings so I can go to the reception and get cake!
I love how she said Jamarcus right after he said it was Robert.
Jan Krang is UNDERRATED. She should be receiving applause as all recurring characters do.

Willem Defoe does crazy better than about anyone! He is a treasure!
Aww Kate came sooooo close to breaking Chloe with her crazy cat lady! 😂
Kate is SO good & funny. Chloe almost lost it! LOL.
I don't think Kate let anyone know she was going to scooch down behind the podium.....
Pete stepped in for two seconds and made me laugh the hardest
Of course Jan Krang never misses one of these meetings. All apartment buildings have one. 4:35 lol 🤣
She is not funny to me!
That was my main hope when I saw this is that Jan KRANG would return.
Finally! Aristotle!! And he killed it 🤣🤣🤣 we need to see more of him please!
Yes!
SO on point! Exactly every tenants' meeting ever held.
And don't get me started on the Karen's at these things.
"Why the limit on cats per unit must be raised from 3 to 75. Part one..." I'm dead 🤣🤣🐈🐈🐈
Well now I’m gonna need Mr. Dafoe to play Lou Reed in a biopic.
GREAT idea. Go for it! I bet Dafoe would be all in.
@@horseman4now I’ve always found Reed a tiny bit overrated personally but I’ll always be a fan. That said, he’s virtually unheard of by the mainstream culture, so getting someone like Dafoe to play him would likely help introduce younger people to his music. Just like Pete Davidson could be the reason teens today get introduced to the Ramones
Lou Reed was a mega douche who believed his own myth.
Somebody tag him
I love the recurring characters in this skit that pop up over the past few years in other SNL meeting/podium sketches.
Perfect vehicle for Dafoe as old school New Yorker
Pretty much just Lou Reed. I love it.
I watched this three times in a row it’s so good!!! 🤣 Love seeing all the personalities! Okay I’m gonna watch it again!
Same. Maybe a few more times than you though...🤫😒
Thanks for putting VillaSenior in this sketch. She deserves more sketches, She's funny as Hell.

Love her!!!
She was nervous this week. She’s had a knock to her confidence. Her bedroom sketches are still some of the best. Hope she finds her mojo back soon x
Definitely not her best week
Amen!
Keenan will always be my favorite, he’s too good 😂👌🏽💯
Heidi is always a perfect Karen 😂

She is hilarious!
That voice she does for the Mom/Karen parts is SO funny
But at least she had the only real complaint
True
Ahaha so many amazing moments in this skit! Aidy killed it again as Jan Krang, Pete’s delivery was hilarious, and Kate... omg I love her so much 🐈🤣🥰
So was Betty White!

James Austin Johnson actually played Adam Driver in a sketch.
@@canaisyoung3601 yeah and he absolutely bodied that one
Aristotle had me laughing my ass off 🤣 and by the time Kate was up I was wheezing lol. Omfg that sketch was amazing 🙌🏻🤣🤣

Mikey Day plays the middle-management roles so well that I was actually bummed to see him not play it this time lol.
They need to use the whole cast like this a lot more please and thank you 🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂
Had to rewatch 2:32-2:52 again and again to keep laughing.
Now i need to watch his monologue, because so far he might be the best SNL host ever. ..
Keenan's look and laugh totally made this sketch for me...
The sock joke flew over so many heads😂😂😂😂
So did the sock.
“Bitch.. I don’t need it. I was asking as a courtesy ✌️”
Aristotle killed it!! definitely need more of him on SNL
Keenan and Katie are on another level. Aristotle also nailed it, he’s got the funny bone alright.
5:46 Andrew's casual insults are back again! it cracks me up every time lol
Always glad to see these ensemble pieces that are often the main time some cast members will get on, like Melissa or Aristotle or Punkie. Aristotle is so good every time - hope we see more of him. And James Austin Johnson was so good here too. Great to see him getting to have laughs without the impressions.
Heidi plays the “Karen who thinks the world revolves around them” character to perfection
I thought Cecily was that sort.
"I bought the top 3 floors for 11 dollars."
God, I miss the 70s.
I had a neighbor like this, lol. Bought the house across the street in the '70s for literally $14,000. Meanwhile, we were renting a house you probably couldn't buy with half a million dollars. It's sickening.
So does Chet Filmore.
The meeting actually accomplished a great deal, unlike any similar, real-world meeting. I’m impressed.
William Dafoe is such a great actor. Really liked his part. Was not even born then and had me. He was also great in that movie about Bob Crane.
i love that they basically went 'just come in with whatever character you've been working on'
This made me realize my landlord although kind, is a slumlord. 😂
2:17 No refreshments, no me.
This was one of the best SNL sketches I’ve seen in a long while!!
So good!
Very good
Keenan, Aidy and Katie are the crazy trinity of SNL. Ain’t no back talk!!!
Jamarcus with the jokes. "Robert?" Please! Jamarcus, you are such a goof!
I think it is because he possibly doesn't live in the building, you could tell by him wearing his work clothes.
@@silvergir89 Yes, he's the doorman. He works in the building (in the lobby, so you would see him every time you come in or leave). Tenants get to know their doorman and the doorman knows all the tenants (and usually which unit is theirs, etc.).
Willem Dafoe is just awesome. That short bit he did had me ROFL 🤣
The evolution of Pete Davidson!!! He had crowd laughing at first sight, says 1 word and gets a roar! Its interesting........
Tenants Association: How's the rat problem? Pete (as the cigarette-smoking super): Bad LOL🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
And he didn't crack! He only had one word, but he didn't crack!
Right? Someone explain how this is "funny."
@@mylittlegator In real life, you'd expect them to minimize the problem using a lot of nothing words. When Pete gets to the point with one word, our surprise turns into laughter.
it kills me how every time pete appears and says one line, you can still hear screams in the audience, lmao, the power
They need more sketches just like this, this was fantastic!
This whole skit is hilarious with every person have there own unique characteristics.

*Mr. Milos had me actually wheezing*
“When will Verizon install the friggin’ Fios” was the best part.
This feels like they’re ripping “Only Murders in the Building”… it works 👍👍
Omg yesss
Its a pretty generic depiction of a NYC tenant meeting, but to folks who aren't used to 100+ unit buildings Only Murders in the Buildings might simply be your reference point. (To be clear, by generic I only mean the premise, the comedy was good.)
6:00 LMAO KEEP MR. CARSON 😂🤣
Almost like a second city sketch. This material is classic from any decade.
That shame on u line was soooo funny.......also Pete killed it......and Dafoe was unforgetable........come to think of it, the whole skit was GOLD!
the cut to kate and her barely concealed smile got me good
Willem Dafoe doing the burnt-out man is hilarious
