    Cheers Cam another great video mate, I’ve just upgraded my Red Sea Max C 130 with a custom sump, I also will be adding a doser to the system, it’s a GHL 2.1 standalone doser with magnetic stirrers, so I’m looking forward to some automation on my tank at last, keep those great videos coming dude 😀👍

    Good video, why don’t you use the 2l container for the acro power? That way you can leave the doses where it is

    Nil for old doser? Let's talk...love the containers

    Acropower goes cloudy and clogs after a month or so even with a stirrer turning it over for an hour a day. I’ve just changed to KZ amino the one that is not concentrated I think it’s part 3 of a 4 dose system they have.

    • @GalleryAquaticaTV
      @GalleryAquaticaTV  5 лет назад

      I usually keep Acropower in the fridge so haven’t seen the cloudiness develop. Maybe I should have put the vessels in a fridge... Cam

      @markmckinnell2204 5 лет назад

      Gallery Aquatica TV - I would with the Acropower Cam, hopefully the KZ is shelf stable for me as hand dosing gets boring very quickly 🤞

      @markmckinnell2204 5 лет назад

      Unless you dose the Acropower with it dosed through a fridge it goes cloudy and lumpy even with an automatic stirrer, whereas the KZ amino (not the concentrate) I use is temperature stable and I dose with my Kamoer X4 not hand dosing.

    Of you get a flexible funnel you could fill each reservoir without taking them out or tipping them

      Gallery Aquatica TV I’ll be on the list for that when it arrives. I feel like I need to make a Facebook account so I can see what you guys have in stock! Not sure I can take that plunge though. Keep up the great work.

    Do you not calibrate the doser?

    • @GalleryAquaticaTV
      @GalleryAquaticaTV  5 лет назад +1

      Yes we did calibrate it, we just chose not to go into full-detail with the calibration and programming of the doser. Cam

    I’m new to the channel, why not use Neptune DOS and DSS container to automate and monitor?

    • @GalleryAquaticaTV
      @GalleryAquaticaTV  5 лет назад

      We certainly do use Apex systems on many of the systems we install, it just happens that this tank doesn’t have one. Cam

    Lovely video, I was sure the power was for magnetic stirrers, but LED's are pretty cool as well :D
    Quick question: How to care for Cespitularia? I lost 80% of my colony, overnight, I've had it for a year, and it's been happy all in all 6 months. I figured as Australians you might know a thing or two about Cerspitularia? :)

    • @GalleryAquaticaTV
      @GalleryAquaticaTV  5 лет назад

      If all the other corals look ok and you haven’t seen any parameter swings, my guess is a “location specific” problem such as being stung by an LPS for example. They certainly don’t go down that quickly from deficiencies or excesses in your water chemistry without it showing in other corals first. Cam

      @@GalleryAquaticaTV Thanks Cam. It sure was weird. It's a softie only tank, but I did discover cespitularias weakness against GSP, which absolutely destroyed it. It was hollowed out and all white in the wounded area. So I think it might have been a chain reaction from that. Everything else was fine, but the anemone died afterwards, probably form the cespitularia chemicals in the water.

    I use a two part called C balance, and I does this manually and I would like to stop dosing manually so do I need something like this to get started?

    • @GalleryAquaticaTV
      @GalleryAquaticaTV  5 лет назад

      That would definitely be my recommendation. Then you would still have 2 dosing channels free for something else. Cam
