8:15 "We don't just put stuff together" few seconds later "lets put some stuff together :D
I was just getting ready to post the same thing. Best part of the video. Love it!
“We don’t just put stuff together“ meaning they design and ALSO assemble (put stuff together) otherwise he would have said “we don’t put stuff together” he was pretty much saying they don’t buy off the shelf parts and assemble it they design it them selves and then build it
Them miller lites on the work bench! Dope place to work haha
Why tiene is not a stock of it in the market?
Thanks for sharing. For someone that loves DIY electronics for aquariums, seeing the inner workings of Ecotech is amazing.
Very well built, when my old dosing pumps fail I will be getting these.
Lol, loved the beer next to his computer
Great video. Being an engineer this was right up my alley. The fact that these are made in the USA makes then we'll worth the cost.
I will be buying a 4 pack of these.
Neat video Jake! It was pretty cool to see how it was made, and how basically EcoTech operates. They have awesome gear to make awesome reefing gear. Theres several levels of nerding out on this one. lol See ya this weekend!
Awesome - seen these at a recent show - neat, love the docking station
Great video and a very different way of looking at a piece of kit. Looks quality
That was simply amazing content to watch, I'm in awe to see how it's made!
Just when I publish the video of Jebao Dosing one (with bold title lol), I would love to compare Cheap vs Quality!
Now it's Time release and Price info, can't wait for 2020!
I always want to do videos like these but it's so rare that companies are willing to show!
Great job.
I’ve been really wanting to get some of these pumps. I’m a big fan of Ecotech marine and this was definitely a great video and certainly cemented my decision to purchase this pump.
Man, which I knew this was going down... would've loved to join you guys at the bench! Great vid Jake :)
Beautiful, simplistic and robust design. Made in America! Just ordered mine today.
I'm impressed. Great work!
Just recieved my Versa for a calcium reactor. Now I know what to do with the grease that was supplied, thanks.
I love that there is beer everywhere :D Gotta be a fun place to work! lol
Omg Realy Great video thanks
1:05 notice the beer cans sitting on the desk
Cant wait. Sold!
This is incredibly cool
I think I need a few of those! 😱
I like that there drinking beer while at work. That is worrisome 😮
Loved how mine leaked out of box!!!!!!!!!!
The versa is literally the BEST calcium reactor pump I have ever used , I have used the kamoer fx-stp 2 , kamoer x1 pro stepper T , kamoer kcs pro 2 , needless to say this pump surpasses any hobby grade continuous duty pump that exists to this day, I can leave town knowing that I have a reliable pump keeping my corals alive, the only downside is no Wi-Fi connectivity so no controlling it while away, I would love to see Ecotech start getting these pumps to retailers so that we all can throw away the 90s style dosing pumps
Oh man can wait to see what this puppy can do. Hmmm I wonder if it will be apex compatible and if it will have any safety features?
Besides the Mobius-interface, Would you be able to also control these pumps with an optical-sensor, or through Neptune Apex? These are some sweet pumps! Thank You, Jake!
@1:20 If your stuff was broken. Blame it on the beers. LOL
I finally Brought One !!!
I want one!!
Love how out of his element Jake isXD
Can this use for calcium reactor as well ?
Any idea when is this going to ge release I'm trying to hard not to spend money on one for my new sps tank.
RC STUDIO hopefully next Tuesday!
When is going to be available
hey thank you show is to me.
Is the Miller Lite forcing him to give up their trade secrets?
I hope this has the capability to pull water from long distances like the DOS (but without tremendous noise :D)
Even when running at high speeds the Versa is surprisingly quiet
Fabtastic!
Hey Jake, will the app let me control the pump while away from home or will I need to be in proximity of the pump?
Anyone know when these will be available gain?
did they figure out why the pumps are leaking from the provided fittings?
Hey! Will you be reviewing the new AI lights when they come out? But otherwise this not only blows my mind but inspires me for my own products and designs I’m working on.
You bet, lights are up and review video will be very thorough
@@ReefBuildersVideo Awesome!! Cannot wait! A shame that the dosing pump is so expensive for a single unit, but I suppose for that sort of build quality and accuracy I can't complain. Maybe they'll release a bundle deal.
Is this like the komora pump, and can it be used for calcium reactors? If so I’m holding out for the release.
Medic 58 I got one coming in for my calcium reactor next week! So stoked
Can i control this device through WiFi anywhere ?
Is it compatible with Apex with Ecotech Apex module?
Would you highly suggest wait and get eco techs or get a dos for my apex ?
FOr sure the Versas are quieter, more capable, more flexible and will be a dosing pump for life
Having Miller light on your desk is not a good selling point. So.... I'm out also has beer in the cup during half of the tour lol I love my beer too but not during work. I love your channel bud!
Eric A's fishing adventures we filmed at 5:00
Lehigh students making a difference in the Valley.
Price and availability???
"specific torque" tightens down with battery screwdriver :D
It might be torque limited.
Can you go back and ask them WHY the Vectra return pumps are STILL not compatible with the Apex??
None of the Apex gear is compatible with Ecosmart either . . .
wonder what the price point will be for these
$150
@@ReefBuildersVideo oh awesome thanks for the reply! figured they wouldn't make them more then 150 to compete with the price point of the dos
I’m guessing it’s price point at $275.00. A lot of thought and new technology built into it.
$300 will get you two Versas
@@ReefBuildersVideo Well that's awesome!
Would rather buy a calcuim reactor. These days dosing pumps are becoming just as expensive.
Hydra 64 HD review please 😁
it's coming, I already filmed the first part
Can be controlled with the WXM?
these will be self controlled
How many thousands of dollars will this cost?
0.15 thousand dollars
if it just was apex controlled...
They need to work on their app and website they are literally useless. I'm glad I have an apex to run everything, if I had to use the reef link I would have probably got ride of my ecotech products by now.
I use the app to control around 50 assorted devices with no issues.
@@ReefBuildersVideo maybe its me, but from the looks of the reviews in the app store I'm not the only one with these problems. I just think it's crazy that I upgraded from an AI prime on my last tank and now have two xr30s for like 9x the price and I thought the app from AI was much much better. Don't get me wrong love all my ecotech equipment just hate the user interface.
This is the kind of video that makes you NOT want to buy their products, why on earth these are so expensive is beyond me.....
Products that are made in the USA are going to be more expensive, compared to something that’s made using borderline slave labor in an unregulated country. 😊
I will still go with GHL dosing pump.
You guys already know it's going to be OVER PRICED
My jebao still running for the last 3 years. Just saying. Do you even reef bro. Over priced equipment
I have seen a half dozen jebao dosers fail from day one... no comparison.
Good pump , customer service still garbage though
