Currently in my 20s, one thing i would like to share is to not compare yourself with others esp your peers. It’s easy and natural to want to do so, for example your classmates now already engaged, or already buying a new house, while you’re perhaps not there yet or don’t have a true path you wanna take. But It’s really really true that everyone’s journey is different. Just compare yourself with the old you, and no matter how, you would definitely realise that you actually are growing and improving, and that’s already so great.
Honestly, I would totally subscribe to a blog or some sort of platform just to see how Nic uses graphs, google sheet or whatever other statical format for life situations (or life system I guess)
I have 2 learnings during my 20s: 1. Ever tried, ever failed, no matter. Try again, fail again, fail better. 2. When deciding whether to jump into something, try to ask yourself whether it's a decision that you will regret if you pass it up. If it is, just take it.
When you are young, often you are sensitive to how others see, think about you. But actually, you should not be, life your Life, don't be 'lived' by others. Doesn't mean you should not be compassionate for others, but don't worry too much how others might think about you
hey guys! im currently going through the early years of my 20s. i agree with you that your 20s is the time when you figure things about yourself (im going through this stage now :< ) i feel like there is some pressure when it comes to "living your 20s to its fullest", be it comparing yourself with friends who are having more overseas adventures or friends who are having fun dating around. also, maybe it's just me but part of me feels that im still a teenager. i find myself being too overwhelmed to learn about financial literacy or other adult responsibilities. just sharing some of my thoughts! great episode and nic you damn funny :P
OMG I guessed all your ages correct from the photos just by sensing the vibessss (legit I paused it and guessed)!! Ya’ll really have such distinct 20s eras while I’m still going thru mine and being more kind to myself ❤
I struggle with being comfortable alone and needing lots of me time but also feeling lonely and having no friends while looking outside in at other people's close-knit friendship circles. One of my biggest worries is that should I get attached, I don't have any friends to introduce my partner. Another worry is should I require emotional support I have no one to turn to. Any advice?
Hello! As nick, joie and q shared in the episode, there’s truly nothing wrong with that if that’s what works for you! That said, we have an episode on adult friendships from our earlier episodes (ep7) as well!

amazing conversation! this needs a part 2..
13:30 , haha relatable but my quote is :
Don't regret whatever you did at that moment, because at that moment THAT'S WHAT YOU REALLY WANTED.
