Hey, I’m in orgo 2 now(after making a C in orgo 1) and I am just lost I watch your videos and it makes sense but when it comes test time I gave no clue what I’m looking at or doing, what should I do? I haven’t really had a mental block like this for a class before
Watch his videos and do practice problems, especially those similar to ones on the test. Do problems until you know how to solve each type of problem. Let nothing get behind you
if you're watching this for the first time and you're confused, stick with the video until the end and then watch a second time. on my second watch, everything started to click
Hello, please am confused when you said PBr3 even though reacting with the secondary alcohol proceeds through an SN2 reaction. Because we know secondary and tertiary alcohols are SN1 reactions.
10:44 But in the case of socl2 using pyridine as the solvent isn't it going to form a compound that has the socl2 molecule without any chlorines but the alcohol on one side and the pyridine on the other?
Hello, Thank you for all your great content!! Would you be willing to a have a very brief conversation with me regarding electro chemistry pertaining to the oxidation of alcohol?
Oh, ok! So the O in Ethanol(?) has a stronger polarity than Br so it takes the H from HBr (to be H2O and Ethylbromide?) Dig it (noob, thanks COVID hahahaha).
Maine halogenation Mein Dekha Hai Ki Main dusri duniya mein hun aur total 12 planets Aur Main 8 ko dekh kar Dur Ja Raha Tha Kyunki 8 per bahut sara polution ho gaya tha iske liye main dusri Duniya Mein ja raha Ho ki main dusri Duniya Mein ja raha hun Earth bahut pollution ho chuki hai aur 12 planets hai

hey, wud i get timestamps for this vid cuz im watching it from india for my class 12 board (wud be soo helpful 😀👍)
Legend knows that everyone is watching this video a few hour before the exam😂😂
Caught me
That's right 😂
No kidding..
Are a high school student ???
Yep lol
I am a pharmacy student and your videos make organic chemistry a little bit easy
cuz he does basics soo well
In this video....., trust me that sentence is real. You are amazing!
I just graduated senior high-school, and i'm thinking of pursuing a bs-chemistry for my college course. I'm looking forward from your tutorials
How's that going
@@uncertifiedlinguist8396 fucking sucks
@@uncertifiedlinguist8396 real
each and every science university in the world deserves a copy of u
Your videos are the best man keep it up we are grateful for people like you.
14:00 please correct.....Alcohol with SOCl2 without pyridine give retention & mechanism is not SN2 but SNi
I've noticed this a lot lately. Maybe it's newer because a lot of these older videos, all show this discrepancy.
high school : i hope organic chem will help me in fresh year
fresh man: how can i afford the membership
YOU WONT BELIEVE IF I TOLD YOU I WAS JUST STUDYING THIS LESSON OMGGG
I love organic chem. That what I’m doing now
i like it too! God bless you, friend : )
you literally have videos for everything omg
you saved my life i love you

Hi, I love your videos! could you do one like this on haloalkanes and haloarenes?
if you're watching this for the first time and you're confused, stick with the video until the end and then watch a second time. on my second watch, everything started to click
just keep rewatching it
isnt it wrong at 5:38? because this is an sn2 reaction, and sn2 does not have rearrangement????
that's what i was thinking; isn't it sn2?
Before sn2 reaction
Because markovnikov rule i mean we all want to be more stable
I think it’s sn1 cause sn2 don’t form a carbocation
Can't be sn2. Sn2 is concerted single step reaction.
Hello sir. can you please tell me which software are you using?
. for drawing the structures &etc.
11:08 Is there any prove that the reaction actually takes these steps?
What drawing program do you use.It looks nice
I love your videos 😍
At 13.21 you said Br on on the wedge, not the dash, but in the product you drew it on the dash.
in 9:05, 1-carbon is bond with H,H,O,C to H,H,Br,C . How can I think this is inversion at carbon?
What app have you used sir?
What happens if you have PBr3 reacted with 1,2-pentanol or pentan-1,2-ol?
Could you show how the intermediate gets deprotonated if using ether as the solvent
This is really good
Sir canyou teach all the things of chemistry with basics
Well explained thank you so much sir
you are the savior
Hello, please am confused when you said PBr3 even though reacting with the secondary alcohol proceeds through an SN2 reaction. Because we know secondary and tertiary alcohols are SN1 reactions.
They proceed in an sn2 reaction whenever they react with hydrogen halides
can we replace zncl2 with another catalyst?
I think AlCl3 would work too
10:44 But in the case of socl2 using pyridine as the solvent isn't it going to form a compound that has the socl2 molecule without any chlorines but the alcohol on one side and the pyridine on the other?
Please make video about felkin ahn model
Hello, Thank you for all your great content!! Would you be willing to a have a very brief conversation with me regarding electro chemistry pertaining to the oxidation of alcohol?
What about [ Zn(OH) Cl2]
Sir, Please provide the full video on RUclips
why does PBr3 proceed by Sn2?
not actually Sn2 but overall finally inversion is observed .
Convert ketoxime to nitrile please 😊
Thanks
Sir What is best way to learn sceince
Just tattoo your arms and legs of all rxns and you have your own answer sheet. 😅😅
Boronation reaction
Of organicchemistry
Yo please live a healthy and a long life so that I can graduate😂
seems we've got the same prayer... lol
Why can't we just attack the OH with Br- and Cl- rather than adding a base?
Who else watching this with a college fueled hangover
Oh, ok! So the O in Ethanol(?) has a stronger polarity than Br so it takes the H from HBr (to be H2O and Ethylbromide?) Dig it (noob, thanks COVID hahahaha).

I'm sorry I'm normally a fan of your videos but you are going way too fast in this one and I'm still not understanding at all!
I have quiz tmrw this is my last resolution
Boss Hoffman bromination
Yo first
No
wow

I don't understand 💔😭
Haha
learn the basics from crash course channel (its 1 yr old, atleast ppl who dont understand use this 😀)
Tan aw sila ani Kay e pa report Alam's na
