I teach 8th Grade History and my favorite is my nutcracker shelf’s. We do a unit on holidays around the world and how they originated and 1 that we talk about is Christmas. I love nutcrackers and have had a collection since I was a child and my students love them. We name them and give them character traits and act they they we Egyptian gods. So we talk about what they ruled etc..
