I am surprised you haven’t been scooped up yet for a position. We are in dire need of teachers in CA. My district is about an hour and a half from you and we are starting our year next week with lots of interns and long term subs because we can’t find teachers with experience.

You are what I call and “extra” teacher. I am too. We just do what our students need no matter what. This is a wonderful quality to have ❤️
IT'S WORTH IT!!!!!!! I talk about it some in my vlogs and if you look back on my insta you can see it. It doesn't have to be fancy. Mine is usually a chair, the worry plaque, a pillow. Lots of teachers make it a big thing and decorate it all up but you just need a space where they can "get away" and something to hold reallllly helps 💛
A calm down corner gives kids the option or learning to recognize an emotion then to take care to calm down if they need to. It teaches then self regulation. Definately recommended 👌

I got the timer from Lakeshore for cheap on Ebay. I hate it. Like i detest it. I'm looking for a large magnetic one, that kids can see and I can easily set and reset it.
Omg I'm a mom of 3 5 and under and I brought a $249 hp printer with my tax money last tax season and I will never by any other printer!!!!! The printer is freaking AMAZING I love the instant ink!! I just have a problem with HP charging me for paper subscription twice now I already canceled😅😪 trying to talk to a decent person is like playing Rushion roulette!! Customer service comes off rude, entitled and scammy!! But HP printer and instant ink THE BAM! I don't have a class room but I'm starting to home school half the day, the go to head start 4 hrs out if the day, when this school years over and my oldest goes into kindergarten I'm homeschooling, absolutely no traditional school for my kiddos! Their head start does things more like the Montessori way and I love that! But traditional school does not and I don't like public schools and absolutely won't send them to a religious private school. I love the elf on the shelf! I'm very open and honest about whats real and imaginary but it would be a fun game for them to play with!!
I just tried to email you at the address above and it didn't go through! I'll try again with my "non school" email. Anyway, please consider commuting to SJUSD in Sacramento area/Carmichael. It would be worth it for a while and our kids would benefit from a loving and thoughtful individual like you!!!

Stanton optical! No luck finding them online. They are "Christian Paris" brand. I used to wear Chelsea Morgan 5004 and you can find those!

Spray paint (rustoleum) Make sure you seal it. It would be smart to use a clear outdoor sealing spray! :)
