LA Fleet Week® 2023: Galley Wars Surf & Turf Taco Challenge - long version (

Galley Wars 2023 Surf & Turf Taco Challenge, sponsored by FOX Entertainment, took place on Sunday, May 28 as part of LA Fleet Week® 2023. In this video, four two-person teams from visiting Navy, Marine Corps., Coast Guard and Army compete against each other on the fantail of the Battleship IOWA in a 30 minute timed cooking challenge. A panel of four esteemed judges, including two local executive chefs, view, taste and score each teams' dishes in the categories of presentation, creativity, taste and best homemade salsa, to select the best Surf & Turf taco plate. Once the judges have made their decision, the winning team is awarded the highly-coveted Galley Wars 2023 championship trophy and more importantly, the bragging rights as the best-in-the-west surf and turf taco duo.
