Just found your channel and I love your humor and camera work a lot! I grew up with silent videos like this, with text commentary. And it feels almost nostalgic but comforting, to follow someone else’s journey through this game in that way.
0:33 um... as a kid i had psychotic episodes like this, they started with a popping sound from my spinal cord, & a sensation of dangerous/powerful "others" nearby. They would start at any time of day, and lasted for minutes. Checkerboard landscapes, yes, that. What the fuck? Is... is that so COMMON that they incorporated it into a game?! I know that MOST of the above is a not-uncommon human experience, often interpreted as alien abduction. I just never knew the checkerboard thing was a common aspect 😅.
That sound you heard near the start is the sound the game makes when all campaign event contents, or at least day specific ones, are all over Come back next update
The reason no one has made first contact with aliens is because they’re all shit neighbors and everyone just recognizes the galaxy is a bad neighborhood full of weirdos.
We have the same favorite signal. Also I put the paper alien in the admin room, too... generally we play the game quite similar wth. I howver got sick of the physical damage so I turned that off... I think going down cliffs backwards with the atv is safer though, could be wrong... Btw I believe it's just harder to win the arirals heart in 0.8. I gave them shrimp every day and by the time the brownie event happened it wasn't 100%, which it was when I did the same in 0.7...
@@Lightning_Fox if you get "lucky" and get the end signal, that would boost it quite a lot. If you don't know what it is, don't look it up to not get spoilered. Otherwise it's just shrimp. Another way to get them to like you in 0.7 is to let them feed you yoghurt in your sleep, but they haven't done that at all to me throughout my 0.8 playthrough...
I know, there's an issue with my exports every time I upload, I've got videos set to almost 200% volume and they still end up quiet... I'll just need to set them to the max volume amount and just see what happens😔

Little advice: change door password to something like 32132. It's much faster to enter 'cause no lag between same keys.

I was just barely able to get them high enough, and I spent almost all of my income on shrimp for them. There aren't many ways to get rep quickly :(
