  • I've done many track days and time attack but never door to door racing u till today. We got this $500 Sirion a couple of weeks ago ready for this charity race. Being new to this platform I soon realised how hard it was to get aftermrket bits for it. We found some new BC coilovers, winmax pads, service etc. Had some great battles, it did ok but understeered alot. Soo. Realised all the top runners ran rear sway bars. The echo's out here killed it today. They were running 1.02 to 1.06. Best I could do on this thing was a 1.08. We ripped the headligtt out and added a "custom intake" and surprisingly this gave the car some better response....Brakes held up great but unfortunately after 219 laps Rodney came knocking and ended our day.

Man this is the best kind of racing! Low price, low care, tonnes of laps, cheap cars getting the run of their life and good door to door battles with a bunch of similar people! I got into endurance karting this year and it’s a similar deal 👌 would love to get into something like this one day

Yes! The fact they were cheapish cars, you worry less, and the cars are all similar in power makes it so much fun, will def be doing it again!!!
