I’ve attempted the Arrowhead 135 four times, 3 walk and 1 bike. Failed each time but it was awesome.
    1,000 miles is insaaaaaaaaaane… Cheers!

I am Australian and I am so proud to see Grant doing this. I would love to just visit these places and explore, yet these guys are doing the full trail. each section is a major accomplishment, I thought i was hard core wandering the Aussie High country in winter, a few hours from the trail heads .. I know the feeling of push, wanting to get warmth and relax, but without pushing ourselves we can never truly appreciate the easy days. Top Job Grant, made me feel so proud and gave me hope that maybe one day ..... maybe

Randomly found this video and after 5 minutes, I knew had to watch in it's entirety. This was an incredible depiction of such a strenuous adventure that it seemed almost mythological from the viewers perspective. The energy from the connections with all the different people on their own journey really shows the humanity rarely seen in today's world. This is a true adventure documentary and the people have an incredible outlook on the journey and the challenges encountered. Amazing work, truly inspiring.

Thank you so much for taking us on this journey with you. I am watching the result board now as race '24 is still in motion and you all are absolute beasts. I often wonder what in a God's name would possess anyone to do this and hearing racers take on this, their challenges, the struggle and how everyone has different way of dealing with it all, I have better understanding, and I am beyond impressed. It reminds me Denali climbs. When weather is decent it means a world difference but when it sucks, it will rip the life out of you. You allowed us all to see, just how incredible difficult this race is. Congrats to every single one of you and thanks for sharing.

Thanks so much! It’s fun watching familiar dots traipsing across Alaska this year- Beat on foot, Petr (without an E) on skis and Canjo on bike!

Way to go! What a huge accomplishment. And the video is top notch- shows the beauty, challenges and how grueling (both physically and mentally) it is.

That bear situation sounds terrifying. Are some racers armed in case of encounters?

No- that was a super rare situation- a very warm spring- hopefully that was an anomaly and it stays cold through March up there.

News Flash : Big Agnes sucks their gear doesn't last and their employees are rude and don't care about you after they get your money.Seeing the BA banner everywhere at this event really is disappointing.Boycott Big Agnes I'd rather Pabst Blue Ribbon sponsored the Iditarod.
