Nice ride and very nice driving. Though for those saying in your face turbos etc this is just an example of power to weight. A good turbo motor would do just the same in a light car like this and more then likely help with the weight distribution. Though its not a pissing contest and the true winner is the driver and the people that get to watch the video.

Thanks its already on modfather (celica with red paint vinyl wrap) it should be first one on the list). I wanted to do something a little different and 3SGT's have already been done alot. I love the sound of a V8 and just picturing myself sitting in that seat with a lovely sounding V8. Im trying to get a detailed video of the install done. Its the 1UZFE swap, twin turbo, roll cage, RWD that Im getting done.
I'd say the linear torque delivery added with instant throttle response at any RPM of the V8 offers more advantage over a big turbo 4 cylinder. It's an entirely different monster that will be better suited for the differing driving styles and preference.
@thedangdanger I highly doubt a 4age fitted with a turbo on it would be heavier then a 1UZFE mate. Highly doubt it. The 1UZFE only makes 140kw stock at the wheels anyway. Like i said its not a pissing contest its just how the driver wanted his car. He drives it well and props to him. I think its great but comments towards Turbos is just not needed on such a cool video.

question: in a Celica will this engine be ideal for high end speed and performance. 1.8 litre stock sucks and doesnt pull after 90mph so to carry the speed on the motorway or stretch of road how is this N/A engine?
no because the celica is front wheel drive, you wont be able to make a rwd engine work unless you convert the celica to rwd. would be better going for a gt4 conversion, should bolt in and be turbo thus making more power, hope this helps
