@KingdomHeartsUnion Appreciate that! I listen often while doing chores and felt like I missed a lot once that music started. ♡ thank you for acknowledging that and being willing to fix it
This would have been extra appropriate with Disidia’s whole Maniquin concept being related to the Replica/Medium research Young Xehanort was doing in Toybox
'Who Am I?' makes a lot of sense to be in Ariel's Grotto for a couple of reasons, especially considering that the motif is a little girl. In the original FF7, for those who aren't aware, 'Who Am I?" is the song that is playing while Tifa and Cloud are falling into the Lifestream in Mideel after the attack by Ultima Weapon on the town. During this time, Tifa found herself inside Cloud's memories, and helped his younger self remind the Cloud in the present what was real about their shared childhood, and the truth about who he was. Cloud had a mental breakdown at the Northern Crater, thinking he wasn't human, not knowing who he was and what was real; It's a similar experience to what Ariel goes through in her movie, just not in the same way. It could be a reach, but it feels like an allusion.
Toys from the 2014 short “Toy Story That Time Forgot” are also visible in Galaxy Toys, notable because all the other products in the store (with the exception of the Dissidia stand and the Cactuar) appear to have been created specifically for KH3.
No offense but at about 13 minutes in, your audio mixing turned to Sonic Adventure 2 . It became hard to hear you over the background music. Otherwise pretty neat info up until then
Also fun fact in secret ending of kh 3 ost hear very similar Somnus (ost not character )Nomura and Shimomura are close friends. She decided to compose Secrets of the Night (the song that actually plays in the secret ending) in such a way to evoke Somnus, in order to surprise him. Nomura had no idea until she submitted it for approval. But riku have similar to Kain Highwind from ff 4. Both are best friends and rival to protagonist of series sora and Cecil. Also have jealousy towards the protagonists. Both we use as pawn from two villains. Golbez and Zemus/Zeromus mind control kain do thier dirty work. Maleficent use riku with liars and Ansem take over riku body. Both have doppelgänger who look like them also fight them. Riku Replica for riku. Dark Kain for kain. Also both tries Atone what thier done. Both them feeling for main female lead Kairi and Rosa. Both them tries hidden identity from protagonist tries help them in to fight new main villain in sequel
Didn't Square come out and say they used elements from Versus 13 for Verum Rex? I would have added Dream Drop Distance and how Neku and friends aren't the only ones from TWEWY to be in the game. In the mini-game Flick Rush, there is a thing called Tin Pin Cup (also a thing from TWEWY) that has opponents named 777, BJ. Tenho, and Minamimoto. What is significant is that all four names are Reapers.
Been wanting to get The World Ends With You for my Switch, but I loved having the 3DS stylus back in the day to play the game with. The Switch is only semi touchscreen so I'm not sure if I could use my finger or a makeshift stylus for combat.
@@BewareTheLilyOfTheValley oh! I can answer that! All combat is used with the touch screen, so I use a stylus made for a phone. It did change up my strategy from my DS days when it came to who I partnered with usually as different partners has a different movement to use. @@rubaisora4823 Thanks for letting me know! Guess I'll need to get a stylus (or, given the larger screen now than the days of the DS, I could probably use my finger...but a stylus would be smoother). @@BewareTheLilyOfTheValley I mostly got NEO because I'm a huge fangirl of Sho Minamimoto and they advertised him being part of your team. It's okay and does satisfy my want of more from that franchise, but it just doesn't compare to the original.
Two things the music was low-key drowning you in the end and the other thing "regardless of the outcome of the fight" sora wins in interview with Nomura he stated that the only reason why the "bad ending" exists is because he knew people would lose he just wanted people to see something cool while being in a struggle nothing more
he never specified the canon ending is the winning one. even in the novelized version, KH Days and Stranger of Paradise writer Tomoco Kanemaki incorporated both endings
@@barsabe Q. The story branches depending on whether you win or lose the battle against Yozora, which I believe is a first for the KH series. Does this have any special significance? A. Yozora is quite strong, so it would be difficult to win. So, it would be better if you could see something even if you lost. There is not much story significance to it. I liked the bouncer. One of the first games I played multiple times to unlock most of the content. It needs a revival. One of the most quotable games I've ever played
The Bouncer is such a PS2 title name but it absolutely does not sound like something that'd come from Square Enix, lol! The Yakuza series? Absolutely. But not "the famous JRPG company" 😅
The dog in the Bouncer's Dog Street logo is actually Angelo from Final Fantasy 8! I noticed two strange movie eastereggs too. Dark City, the city in The World that Never Was is named after Dark City (1995) and shares many similarities like the leather clad villians being able to manipulate buildings and a lot more if you dig into it because the main character and plot is similar to Roxas. And KH3s reminds boss fight room has Matric code running along the walls. (Both are data simulations)
When you are casually vibing listening to KH lore you already knew and the music starts creepin' up on you in real time 🤣🤣🤣🤣 12:00. Why was it so loud?!
I have no proof of this, but I like to think that numerous things in KH1 were sneaky references to the games the Disney cast had been in previously, most notably Hercules using a spinning attack similar to the windmill powerup in his own PS1 game, also the fruit you have to attack in Tarzan's world resembles one of the fruits you can use as ammo in his own PS1 game
wow! I was this video being released days ago, and thought there was absolutely know here I wouldn't already know I watched today almost a week later, there was nothing here I didn't already know fun easter eggs if you didn't play those games, you already be aware if did
Yozora’s name is also a direct reference to Noctis. Yozora written in kanji is 夜空, “night sky”. If you then translate that latin, it becomes “Noctis Caelum”.
You know I love your FF content. However, I love your KH content too. That comment was completely useless 😂. Your pronounciation of Luxord makes my ears bleed though
I love that youre making KH videos again! The audio balancing seems off during the last easter egg, but still a great video :)
Thanks for the heads up and for the support! We'll look to upload a new version of the video soonish :) ~Darryl

I wish the Dissidia NT had been more than just a passing reference, and instead the toys came to life and you had to battle them as a secret boss
That would’ve been sick
This would have been extra appropriate with Disidia’s whole Maniquin concept being related to the Replica/Medium research Young Xehanort was doing in Toybox
NT could've been so much more, it could've been a decent live service game with multiple game modes
Have you ever noticed that Pence's shirt has a 2 on his back in Kingdom Hearts 2 and a 3 in Kingdom Hearts 3?
A KH channel without an annoying voice. Subscribed! ❤️

Okay but what about sora's weight in kh1.
I think the music during the Verum Rex part might have overshadowed you 😅
Seems like the KH fandom is gearing up in anticipation for something. Perhaps we're finally getting KH4 news soon.
Why did the shopping get so freaking loud at the end?
The FF bro started a KH channel? Heck yeah!

He, wait. This is the final fantasy union guy!

Yozora’s name is also a direct reference to Noctis.
Yozora written in kanji is 夜空, “night sky”. If you then translate that latin, it becomes “Noctis Caelum”.
The audio mixing during the Verum Rex section is bad. I can hardly hear your narration over the bgm.
Why is the first 20% of all your videos an essay on “what is this game”? It makes listening to more than one or two of your videos super tedious.
