      It does. You just take the size of the opening into account as the size of the container, again did you watch the video - he spoke about a house roof into a container at the end

    If there is no standars size of the measiring container, we shall be geting different mm or inch in different container?

    But what doesn't make sense is the DURATION OF MEASUREMENT
    0:25 "We have 34 mm of rain!..."
    Was that collected in 1 hour, 30 minutes.... 24 HOURS???
    OR 1 CUBIC FOOT BOX CONTAINER ( 1 x 1 x 1) would be filled-up by HOW LONG?

      If it's "we got 34 mm of rain today" that's collected in the full 24 hours of that day.
      If it's "we got 360mm of rain in August" then it's for all of August.
