I absolutely LOVE your band. Jesus its good! I just came out of QCS today (HSC in NSW) and I have to say your songs kept me sane. Thankyou so much and I love everything you've done. I wasn't a big fan of Anchor at first but now I love it!!
I am a metal head from long ago, your sound has altered the genre of music I choose to listen to. What a voice......WOW, I commend you on your versatility! Wild at heart strikes a chord with me. Loving your alter ego with the likes of Karnivool also. Proud to be an Australian......you all inspire me to be a better person. Keep up the insanely great work! All the best in your future endeavours!
+Ian Kenny I really wish you guys would play in the U.S.!!! I was living in Perth in 2009-2010. I discovered you guys just weeks before I had to leave Australia and had the chance to see you guys 2 days before I left back home to the U.S. Was sooo amazing and ever since I have waited for the opportunity to see you all again. There just isnt music this good and of the caliber you deliver it live here in the states. Please visit!
Why can't these guys be more popular? I only just found them and I'm falling in love. They need to be more popular because at the moment, to see them live either I'd have to fly to Australia or they'd have to come to Connecticut in the USA.
Did the same in Perth. I managed to get front moshpit for both BOT and Muse. Would have happily paid hundreds more then i did just for Birds of tokyo. They need a lot more love then they get.
bands like this should get more recognition, the quality of their songs are so much better than most bands played on the radio!! and way better that the so called music that has recently been played on the radio
I went to a music festival called Rockit north of Perth WA with the intention to see king's of Leon and birds absolutely stole it for me,they sound just as good live and to me,that is pure skill 🔥🤙
This is a great song. Thanks to Rick Beato for posting the Karnivool video (which I really liked too). Exposure makes FANS. Great job, Ian--terrific work.
Each to their own. They may have the same singer, but both have vastly different sounds. Actually had the privilege to speak to Sparky and Glenn once, top blokes. They know their stuff. Turns out Glenn is a Pink Floyd fan.
zoky101 Not sure if you would like it because its is a lot harder to get into than birds of tokyo or karnivool but try listening to Godspeed you! Black emperor - Sleep.
Oh wow. This is special. Damn. I wonder how the rest of the album compares. If it's just a couple of great songs and finished of with medocre, or if the whole albums is at this level. Ian's glance turning into a stare?
I think its all good, you can't compare one country to another. My favourite three bands are sum 41, weezer and muse - 2 American 1 UK...but that being said i absolutely love the living end and jebediah, Australian, so i reckon its all good!!! lol
I love the create deal of effort and I love the gloomy cold feel to it. Really suits. I also know that this song is about...well how "Love is a Battlefield". But I guess I was hoping for some story driven War clips. Killer video nevertheless. Nice work guys.
i fought with many and i won for some we stared at ourselves till our breaking points we wear our bruises like watermarks the life and the death of the wild at heart
Thanks for supporting us everyone, really appreciate it!
Ian Kenny most people are nice...

@VeriniFilms There is plenty of snow in australia, but only in the most southern states. (New South Wales, Victoria, Tasmania).
Haven’t heard this song in years until now.
Age of 9 saw these dudes at MS fest, they still rip it up at live shows. Wish i could've been there for the broken strings tour

Friggin snow though. But all Australians know, snow is a dream. I mean, Blue Mountains doesn't count a bit, that crap is ice!
Aye it is just ice
During winter The Snowy Mountains in Australia have more snow than Switzerland.
Artemis Ripley Winter i thought it just rained like 300 days a year
Artemis Ripley Winter kinda... that's what I thought. But then, I drove through the rockies in Canada 🍁. We don't know real snow.
U talkin shit about Blue Mountains m8?

Oh wow. This is special. Damn. I wonder how the rest of the album compares. If it's just a couple of great songs and finished of with medocre, or if the whole albums is at this level.

Ian is so amazing, I love Karnivool also.
They were spammed on Radio until people got sick of it. I'm a survivor though, nothing kills Birds of Tokyo.
Is it just me or does Ian look completely different in this from the Plans video. (despite the beard and rollercoaster grove hair cut)
OMG NEW VIDEO!!! :) yay. LOVE IT!
This is a great song. It should have way more views than 404 368.
I am so lucky I got satellite radio but I need to hear this more often so good
