  • The Indiana Rail Experience may seem to the outsider no different than any other tourist rail operation - but how did this new service, in just its first year, bring 6,000 ticket buyers from 22 states and three countries to some of the tiniest hamlets of Northeast Indiana? We spoke with railfans, passengers, and the crew of the ‪@fortwaynerailroad‬ to find out.

I am very grateful for the Indiana rail experience to give 765 the best of opportunities to continue operating since the charter runs for highballing down the class One lines have been temporarily postponed till the Fort Wayne historical society can upgrade 765 to Go the Distance again.

As the Indiana rail experience keeps things going for 765. I hope there comes an opportunity to bring 1225 into this territory so she can double head with 765 on a couple runs mostly maybe the fall color run and the tri-state run one day.

Wonder what will next year for the 765’s excursion schedule be like in 2023? Hopefully even a lot more bigger and expandable excursions besides the CVSR? Wonder if 765 can reunite with both 611 and 1225 in Michigan?

Awesome video, and thanks for sharing. I was able to see the 765 come through my little town just a mile north of the Indiana state line, and it was a Awesome experience. I see the little river railroad come through town now and then but to see the 765 was awesome. I'm glad the 765 and the little river has found a home on the Indiana northeastern railroad. I see a clip in your video of the 765 chugging through my village, and it's nice they host the little service cars to. I look forward for more sightings in the future.

I really like the transition from 1:46 -1:50.. Also 6:38 - 6:45 .. I found myself watching them multiple times. Very cinematic. Some of the best vids I've seen of these steam engines. Keep up the great work!

Mr. Iverson that name sounds very familiar. Sounds like a creator of a famous Microsoft train simulator series. But I don't want to spoil it for those yet. Great video as always.
