I totally agree with the comedy thing, i think that is why I prefer when a stand up comedian does crowd work because they then have to react to whatever they get from the crowd. The banter and quick wit is real and far funnier.

when fine line came out I was a junior in college about to leave for study abroad and all my friends piled in one car (like sitting on the floor and in the trunk, hanging out the windows) and we drove around our campus in the dark cold december rain blasting falling and fine line. everyone was crying because none of us wanted to leave each other. when I hear fine line I’m in that car doing loops around campus, crying with all my friends, unaware that covid was about to hit and we would never have that version of life and friendship again. it’s so bittersweet.

It really shows off their smarts in a more experiential way, instead of scripted and forceful. I've got my whole family to watch, and now it's our favorite thing to do together
