It has finally happened... Due to an overwhelming request, the Dragon Ball experience is here... With two very different coloring books for us to tackle..
Which book was your favourite and I hope you'll enjoy today's challenge.

Skin - Vanilla, Soft Peach, Coral
Blue - China Blue, Cool Grey 5
Oranges - Pumpkin, Bright Orange, Burnt Orange
Hair 1 - Lemon, Sunflower, Mustard?
Hair 2 - Lemon, Mustard, Ginger?, Cocoa

I've seen many comments regarding my reaction to the First SSJ4? image...
While I do know exactly who all characters are being a fan for 20+ years, this is not exactly Goku as there are many incorrect features and many of you have commented multiple characters. No one can agree who it is. I'd guess it's supposed to be Goku, but it was badly drawn and had features that aren't consistent with the character/form.
Any whoooo, just figured I'd make comment because theres so many individual ones about it Haha 😂
I thought it was vegito since he has 2 bangs. Or maybe gohan with two bangs for some reason. Its so weird looking that it looks like I drew it

Freezer: *tortures a shaolin monk by stabbing him with his horns and drinking his blood*

King Piccolo: *commits mass genocide after beating a little kid into a pulp*
Piccolo: *rips off his own arm to prove a point*
Goku: *goes through a guy's stomach as a kid in revenge*
Trunks: *cuts a guy clean in half with a sword in front of his dad to later kill him as well*
Tenshinhan: *breaks an innocent martial artist's leg for the fun of it*

Funny thing is-
Dragon ball _is_ published at Shōnen jump, granted its mostly 13 year old teenagers, but its basically targeted for kids from japan.
Its definitely not intended for adults(that’d be Ultra Jump).
And the anime would air as a regular cartoon on tv, so yea, it kinda is a kids show, similar to how Teen Titans is a kids/teenage show.(we just see Japanese cartoons in a different way sense its not as accepted or accessible as in japan for kids/young teens)

He made no mistake. You simply misunderstood. He took inspiration from Goku in SSJ3 from the manga, he never called Vegito Goku

2nd: Vegitto was the best. hands down. Both look amazing but that hair and skin tones on the 2nd one are heavenly xD
Both are outstanding, very clean and well done. The second one looked kinda dark until you put the background in and then it all came together very nicely. I would frame either of these and hang them on my wall... and that is saying something because I am not a fan of DBZ at all... but love what you do with it on these episodes.

Liked the technique you used there and also the details 👌
Im still a novice at shading, i tend to do a 2 shade. 1 solid base tone, and a deep shade for the second tone. When it comes to 3 or 4th tones, i just find it a bit excessive. But then again, i strive to make things look better, perspectively. I draw in light mellow soft colors. But i also want to try for deeper tones for a bit more realistic look, especially for landscaped art. I love my light pixel/ cartoonish art. But i hope someday i can try for semirealistic designs... other than that, great video! Taught me alot 👍
