Do you have a problem with oil temperature ?? Because I have a Skoda Octavia 3 RS TDI with a modification of 218 hp and I had no problem on the circuit reaching an oil temperature of 135 ° C.
@@DarksideDevelopments with the basic power on the tracks, the temperature was only a few degrees lower around 132 ° C. Outside temperature was 29-30°C.
Pretty sure this mk3 2.0 tdi variant is only in europe,it looks almost as good as the petrols ones and it costs pretty little compared to the petrol though.I’d definitely pick a 2.0t petrol version, because the 2.5 costs a lot in Europe
What happens to reliability and fuel economy with this tune? What is the highest possible HP you can squeeze out this engine with every means possible?(unlimited budget)
We have had no reliability issues with this or any others we have tuned with the same engine. Economy is not really affected, maybe slightly better. We have a blog here explaining the tuning options - www.darksidedevelopments.co.uk/Blog/mqb-platform-ea288-engine-tuning-184-cuna-cupa/

Nice one, got a remapped Mk2 TT petrol, manual, FWD and it makes up a fun drive to work in Dodworth from Huddersfield on those A and B roads!
From France 🇫🇷 Super vidéo 😉 👍. J'adore le TT, je possède un TT MK2, et le travail ⚒ que vous réalisez est super 👌. Respect..🇫🇷 🇬🇧
That FWD clip was like my dog dragging it’s arse on the grass 🤣. Always a good video from Darkside .
Amazing what you guys can do 👏👏
Mint vid Ryan as ever good gains on thatTT 🙌🙌🙌🙌👍😎
Lol see stu from motor addicts face while out in the golf 😂🤣 guess he's not used to the power 😉🤣
Is this the same engine what you get in a Golf GTD?
Yes Mk7

They all get hot but with 218hp you won't be able to track it. See what it's like stock, it will likely get hot

@@DarksideDevelopments Why can't he track it with 218 hp?
Mine gets to about 115 when only ragging it on a few roads and 98 Normal ish driving
I have CUNA engine code 184 dsg
What were the Porsche brakes you fitted before the tts brakes? I have a mk3 vrs with 340mm disks but want to upgrade the calipers!

WHAT YEAR WAS THAT YOU ON DINNER DATES
Never been on dinner dates
Don't think we get tdi TTs in usa. Only 1.8t, vr6, 2.5t. Maybe a tsi 2.0t?

Is this engine pretty much the same as the cnha 190?
No, they are different
I wish there was a FWD DSG TDI of this gen of TT, I'd buy one! Manual fwd or dsg quattro alternatives are meh to me.
Why no awd?
@@user-wn3ww5lw5j fuel consumption difference
@@kovacspis makes almost no difference
@@user-wn3ww5lw5j it definitely does. We have a 3.0 TDI A4 B9 3.0 TDI at 300bhp. Easily does 10mpg more than this TT
@@DarksideDevelopments doesn’t the tt has the vw haldex awd?
They aren't quattro, it's a haldex AWD system
Tell Audi to stop putting the badge on then!
mk7 tdi golf yes or no?
Depends what you want, for more than a remap get a Mk6
@@DarksideDevelopments ok. What restrictions do mk7s have.
Watch my GTD video's
What was the 0-100 result?
We didn't make 100mph on the stock tune I believe so never compared it.
