Nice job brother 👍 It should last a long time. Thanks, good health and God bless
Thanks! That's the hope. I'm 100% certain I over engineered them, but I want to be certain they will hold anything.
A very nice build indeed my friend. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks!
And a frame holder too. Brilliant!
Thanks. It comes in handy at times. Especially when I make it the proper size.
How funny. I just made the comment to my husband yesterday how much I liked your stands.
That's funny. Well, now you know the secret behind them.
That’s a slick trick with spacing to fit the frames in between. Wish I would have thought of that before I built our new hive stand. Nice video!
Thanks. Funny... I'm watching your video right now.
Summer beard is looking good, I swear they used ya for Red Dead 2 haircuts and beards.🤠 Hadn't seen ya wood working in a while and ya still have all the.🤞🖐🤞 I am right there with your buddy, sometimes watching beekeeper do wood working can be a bit painful.🤠
Only thing I might have done a little different, 45 degree your 2x4 ends. Makes corners hidden, keeps all your end fibers internal, less water absorption from the ends. I really like how ya think, it's a good though out a good design. I can tell you have put a lot of though into it 🤠 now I don't 🤠 have to. Ty for sharing your time, Blessed Days...
Thanks! Good advice on the 45s for the 2x4 ends. I tend to go for easy, but you do have a good point about water absorption.
Good job. . I went with smaller individual stands this year.
Ya, those smaller stands look really nice. I have a lot of land and could spread my apiary out like that, but I'm also trying to keep out of the hay field. At least for now. So, I lean toward the multiple hive stands. Plus, I think the weight of multiple hives will make the entire thing more stable. We have very strong winds here quite often.
Just a quick tip. The stands that are too wide for your frames, just add a filler strip (1x1) on one side of the rail, between each leg.
Ya, I've thought about that. One day I will retro fit them to fill the gap.
