This video is game changer!! I was going about making thumbnails in Final Cut Pro then putting them into sending them to my phone to crop back and send back to phone! This is definitely easy and effective! I'm currently shooting on the Sony A6400 -- Theres no camera like the one you can master!!!
i do them free on Canva, after I also take the pic on portrait mode on iPhone. the plus of Canva is i get the exact dimensions of a thumbnail size and I can easily copy the previous thumbnail, change the photo, and keep a logo on the top right corner without having to redo it each time.
Things that blew my mind in this video... 🤯 I never knew I could change the aspect ratio in the native photo app! And whenever I would take a photo, I would always have to try to guesstimate the framing to allow me to crop it properly. 🤯 I never knew the aperture could be adjusted in portrait mode, even though I use it all the time. 🤯 I had no idea Instagram could be such an easy way to make awesome thumbnails! I can’t tell you how many different photo editing apps I’ve tried and given up on because they didn’t do quite what I liked. Either that, I would have to use multiple apps to get my desired results. ❤️ thank you guys for always delivering so much valuable information to us!

Wtf?! I just made my first thumbnail for my Tarot Reading RUclips Channel, Wow! Thank you, this was monumental for me, it addressed the limiting belief that “I can’t make Thumbnails!” It may be a small start, but boy did that feel great!

Question for you guys are, if your using Sony a5000-a6600 or sometimes iPhone XS as a camera, how do you set up an iPad mini as a second monitor? I would like to see myself if im in focus or recording correctly. Can you please help with this. I understand some of the camera has a view finder but I like to use a second monitor that’s bigger to view myself. Please help lol . Thank you.
your best bet is if you dont plan on moving to put an object in place then press down on the object - the phone will lock focus and exposure then just replace the object with yourself - theres always using the selfie camera or having someone help
