I have the original black on black duro and I recently bought the blue and the gold. Trio is complete. Just need to wait till Casio releases the batman and the Pepsi. 😁
Great video! I was thirsty for an actual diver's take on this watch but you didn't go into it, so I have some questions: 1. Most people dislike the large 44mm size. How do you feel about it underwater? 2. Do you care about sapphire crystals on watches you dive with? 3. Do you actually dive with a watch or do you wear a dive computer? If you do wear a watch, how does the Duro stack up to your go-to? Thanks!
Thanks buddy. Let me answer your questions... 1. Love the size, works a treat for me 2. Saphhire crystals? Nice to have, but at the Duro's price point who cares? =) 3. I don't scuba dive, I snorkel, so only go under the water for as long as I can hold my breath LOL. Thanks for the comment =)
@@indrasutarman I sold the black version in this video to help fund the purchase of the Invicta... Then bought a blue-faced one because it's such an awesome watch LOL!
@@underwaterwatchesunderwater There is no duro sell from official indonesian casio company, so i bought little bit expensive from independent seller, it was about 75USD (black), if i chose the blue one, it'll cost me for 95USD Invicta also good watch, especially pro diver trinite, i like it....
To time the amount of time elapsed while underwater. It is important when making sure you do not have to decompress, if you go over a certain amount of time at various depths you have to make timed decompression stops.
The bezel is rotated to line up the zero mark on the bezel with the minute hand. During the dive, the minute hand will then show you elapsed number of minutes on the bezel since you started your dive.
Remember. This is a WR (water resistance) 200 watch. Only snorkeling and very shallow dives are recommended. To dive deeper, you need a Divers 200 (ISO 6425) rating.
And a good morning to you too ! Water Resistant 200 Meters / 200 Atmospheres / 20 Bar Though it might seem like it, this actually isn't dive watch territory. While 200 meters seems like a ton of leeway to scuba dive with, even down 10 meters, it's probably best not to risk it. Diver's or ISO 6425 If your watch has "ISO 6425" or "Divers" and then a depth number written on the dial or case, you've got a watch designed for diving and certified up to a standard - unlike watches without ISO markings. This ISO standard means the watch is guaranteed by the manufacturer to handle depths of at least 100 meters (if no number is given) as well as an extra 25 percent of that depth if the water is completely static. Additionally, watches that measure up to this standard have significant shock, magnetic, and salt water tolerance, and provide an indication that it's running in total darkness. If you're going to go deep, go with one of these watches.
@@calypso22 The ISO standard did not appear until the 90's before that people were diving with 100 and 150 metre watches just fine. Plenty of saturation divers just use G-Shocks and they go down deep.
At least you’re actually taking these watches and putting them in the water you’re not going very deep I understand that but I am at least you’re getting them wet in actual conditions instead of just I’ll let you put it in a jar and pressurize it
I have the blue version. Outstanding watch.
Yeah, I bagged a blue one too. It really is a beautiful and amazing watch for the money. =)

The blue is my favourite. Such a lot of watch for the money =)
@@underwaterwatchesunderwater agree. I swapped the MTD1079 bracelet to the blue Duro. It looks even better in my opinion.
@@Redhood-417 I bet it looks sweet!
Woah thank you for this review! I really think this review is underrated for this lovely watch
Thank you, I agree, this watch is definitely underrated. It's freaking awesome =)

Thank buddy. I've done a vid of the Invicta Pro Diver... It's here: ruclips.net/video/dKD6UHrKc6E/видео.html
Hi bro! I have a question that i hope you can answer me, How deep (in the water) can you dive with the CASIO Marlin?
Well, it says 200-metre water resist on the watch. Would I trust that? Not if my life depended on it =)
I will get this duro soon, in couple days
You're gonna love it. So much watch for the money =)
@@underwaterwatchesunderwater for sure tomorrow the duro will come .. :) i bought the black version

@@indrasutarman - Yeah, I had to buy my Duro from the USA as I couldn't source it here in the UK either. Enjoy your watch =)
Nice. What's the purpose of a rotating bezel when diving?

Nice video. I want to do videos free diving with watches but in Spanish XD, I want to test some casios
Get to it! I use a dirt-cheap action camera in a waterproof case. Good luck =)
Wow, thank you. She´s beautyfull!!!!
Thanks Stephan, I truly believe you can't get a better dive watch at this price point!
they need to come up with a red dial and bezel, i have the blue and the black, the gold does not interest me at all
That sounds like a great idea. I saw the blue one when it first came out and had to get one - That one's a keeper =)

Did you lubricate the gasket? Or did you go underwater without lubricating?
I didn't lube the gasket before taking this watch underwater.

Actually all wristwatches, cheap or expensive, can go underwater :D
Casio duro real the best..strong n water resist 200 m.

It’s not very far underwater. I can do the same in the bath.
