Добавлен 6 авг 2019
The aim of this channel is to show underwater watches in their preferred environment... Underwater.
My aim is to do a video... Sell that watch and use the money plus a little extra to buy one a bit more expensive... Video it underwater, sell it and repeat the process.
We'll see how it goes =)

Got a mate that wears on right wrist and one that wears on left but upside down find it strange lol nice video 👍
Glad you liked the video. My dad wore his watch on the right wrist, and as a kid, I wanted to be like my dad. So I wore (and now wear) a watch on my right wrist =)
I love this watch, I have 2 soon to be 3. + a 600m (7549) and a 1000 (Darth Tuna). Legendary diver.🥰
Love the Darth Tuna =)
Nice video and comparison. Thank you!
Glad you liked it =)
very cool
Thank you =)
Very nice, and the chapter ring looks inline 😁🔥👍
Thank you. And yes... The chapter ring was inline, not something that can be said for all Seikos LOL =)
Fantastic watch I have three in my collection 🔥🐟👍
What really surprised me, was how much smaller they wear. Yes, it's a thick watch, but sits on the wrist quite nicely =)
I have mm300 and mm1000 and 600m something about them that I just love 👍🐟
❤❤
🔥🔥🔥🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧👍👍👍
I love these and will one day have one, I hope. However, it is a little disappointing when you realize they are approximately $800.
@@garrettholcombe4915 - I’d suggest the Casio ‘Marlin’ or Citizen Promaster Diver. Both great watches for little money. I’ve taken both of them underwater and you’ll find their videos on this channel.
Es automatico o cuarzo
Automatic =)
Better than Rolex??
Yes and no. It depends =)
The subtitles read "Bobby Sands". Those of us old enough to have been issued this watch know the vile man of that name!!! Anyway, I did my commercial diver training, HSE Parts 4, 3 and 1, at Bovisand. Obviously that took us a bit deeper than snorkelling, and it's hardly a test of the watch, but it was nice to see, and I could smell the salt.
Thanks for your comment Gary, Bovisands is a beautiful place to take an underwater watch underwater. Fond memories =)
Regardless what haters are going to say, it works and the video says it all!
Thanks for your comment, I remember being pleasantly surprised by this watch. I thought it was very good value for money =)
I have a 41mm CWC no-date quartz with matte top MK2 on the way, so I appreciate this video. Thanks, mate. Love from America.
Oh, that's a nice watch you've got. CWC watches are worth so much more than they cost. Really quality. Love back from the UK =)
Visibility is unreal with this watch. If I can only have one from collection (I have many more expensive) I'd take this watch. It's just all I need and nothing else.❤skx007
What do you think about the Citizen Promaster BN0151?
@underwaterwatchesunderwater that citizen is great! I had this watch in black for a couple year until a gave it to my father. He didn't want to mess about with automatics or batteries and this is the perfect watch for him. Next time I will try the blue one.
@@surfside75- I loved the blue one. Really good blue. Don't tell anyone, but I was a bit disappointed with the blue on the Tudor Pelagos. And the blue on the Casio Marlin... Wow! Yeah, I got a bit of a thing for blue-faced watches =)
Tit tanium not tie why every Brit copies the American pronunciation these days I ll never know
Cool👍🏽
Excellent video of an excellent watch from Seiko. It’s funny I came across your video because just a few days ago I was thinking why don’t more people do videos of their Seiko dive watches in action doing what they’re designed to do and here pops up your video of the 007 . Thanks for an awesome 😎 video 👍🏻
Thank you for your kind words Joseph, I'm glad you enjoyed the video. Just wish I had more time to get in the sea and more money to buy watches =)
What a great video! Seeing the CWC SBS in its natural element! I’m hoping to take my CWC Black Auto Mk2 on a dive eventually!
Thanks for your comment. I got my CWC SBS watch 12 years ago for my 40th birthday. It has never missed a beat and never let me down. I adore it. I hope you get to take yours under the water soon =)
its been While and missed ur videos😍 wish u can do more videos about wrist watches
Thank you =) The Panerai situation kinda wiped out my funds. Plus I got into motorcycles too. I'll try to get more UWU vids done next season.

Thank you from🇳🇵🇳🇵 😂❤ I've this watch 😅 i like Seiko ❤
Casio Duro Marlin 🤿🌊
It's always awesome to see a dive watch actually being used for it's intended purpose. Nice video!
Thank you @RandomPersonAJ - Glad you liked the video. Hoping to make more soon =)

Seriously? You’re “testing” this watch while snorkeling? You might as well take a bath with it on, as that is equally as impressive as snorkeling with it. Pathetic
My favorite watch. Take it everywhere. Great for salt water (the band is made to get wet and very comfortable.) It's been to Long Island, Key West, Hawaii, Atlantic Beach, NC & Block Island. Strange to admit, but I've probably gone into the water more often since I've owned it!
Thanks for your comment Jack, you're right, the Citizen Pro Master is a lot of watch for the money. I wish I'd kept mine =)
I have a quartz Invicta pro diver with just a push down crown. Its rated at 200 meters and have never had an issue with it while swimming in pools or natural lakes. A screw down is less important than having an actual gasket on the crown/stem.
Great video I am getting the new orange dial version love seeing this done in the ocean excellent
Thanks for your comment. This is a fantastic watch and the orange dial version looks awesome. You're gonna love it =)
Good to see someone actually use one underwater and show us them doing what they were made for. I haven't dived for 8 years but if I get back in the water I'll be tempted to take my PO
Thank you for your comment. The Omega Planet Ocean is an absolute gem or a watch. Wish I'd kept mine now =)
Good afternoon I have a question for you - in your videos, where you test diving watches with a unidirectional rotating bezel, you can clearly see how, while swimming near the bottom, you touch the seabed with your hands and raise a pile of sand and other dirt from the bottom. So, how great is the risk that in such conditions this very sand or dirt can get into the bezel's turning mechanism and after that it can start to jam and start to turn badly, with effort and rattle! How protected is the mechanism in a diver's watch from sand and dirt getting into it, and have you had similar problems with any of the diver's watch models? Can you comment on this problem and give your advice and recommendations on this matter?!
Thank you for your comment. To be honest, I've never really considered what could happen if sand gets into the mechanism of the uni-directional bezel. Personally, if I was using the feature, once it had been set I wouldn't touch it again until I surfaced. Because the point is to let you know how much time you've got left in your tanks (not a problem I face). And... I always rinse my watches in tap water when I get home. So any traces of salt water (and sand) are removed. I did a video on this. Thanks again for your comment. =)
@@underwaterwatchesunderwater The fact is that I now have a need to buy a real diving watch. I am not going to use them for full diving, but I plan to actively snorkel in them, and also be on the beach, where the wind blows and there is a lot of sand. Therefore, there is a high risk that sand or other dirt can get into the mechanism of the unidirectional bezel, if not in the water, then on the beach. I searched the Internet for information about this kind of problem, but did not really find it. I believe that people may be too lazy to write and describe their problems of a similar kind, so I had the idea to ask practicing swimmers if they encountered such problems ?!
@@underwaterwatchesunderwater The rotating bezel mechanism has moving parts that do not fit snugly and have a minimum technological opening between them, which can get sand or other dirt and disable the mechanism. I don't know why this potential problem is not properly covered, but theoretically and logically it can exist and can cause a lot of trouble to the owner of a diving watch!
@@ERKENSSON - In theory, what you describe could be a problem. In practice, I've never heard of it happening. It's certainly never happened to me or any of the folks I know. And as for snorkeling, it isn't going to be a safety issue. And if you were scuba diving, you'd probably have modern equipment with you and wouldn't solely be depending on the bezel on your watch. My advice is to rinse your watch under tap water after every exposure to snorkeling. That way you minimise saltwater damage and can get rid of any grit/sand/dirt in the mechanism. And... Depending on how much you spend on your watch... In my experience, it's never that difficult to remove the bezel, clean any gunk out and replace it. Enjoy your swimming =)
just subscribed. keep do
Thank you, Kenneth. I'll try. Finances have been whacked recently due to the world situation. New snorkeling season coming up, gonna have to decide which way to go with the watches. Stay tuned =)
Can it dive more ,to a depth of 70 meter??
I couldn't say from personal experience, but it is rated to 200m. It has a wind down crown and screw case back, so I have no reason to doubt it. Anyone know if it's ISO 6425 rated?
20 metros como máximo aproximadamente
@@underwaterwatchesunderwateryour lack of knowledge in both watches and water surprises me, considering your name. Wannabe Jacques Cousteau lmao
@@alberts1996wrong ! someone RUclipsr and professional diver also use it & test its dive into the deep almost 200 meter
I got this watch about 3 weeks ago for 145 on Amazon. I saved so much that I decided to get a Long Island Watch Co, SS jubilee bracelet for it. 😂
Aye, she's a lovely watch alright. I do miss mine =)
Can’t wait to build my ultimate SKX007 with all the upgrades but still looking stock. My 009 needs it’s brother🤪
SNORKELING IS A CAKE WALK FOR THAT WATCH, I TAKE MY 8926OB SCUBA DIVING EVERY TIME, HAD IT DOWN TO 160 FT. WITH NO ISSUES AFTER 6 YEARS.
Way to go GMan! Keep up the good work =)
Howcome i bought the duro it looked small
It's a shame most diver watches never....dive, lol
True words. Thanks for sharing =)
Did any discolaration on the watch?
No discolouration during my ownership. Whenever I take a watch into the sea, I always make sure to give it a nice long rinse in tap water to get rid of any salty sea water.
I've lost an entire bezel in the ocean on a Swiss watch.
Yikes! That must have really sucked =(
Great vid Man! Just subbed. Bet ya won’t do that with a real Bluesey, lol 😂
Thanks Jazzy - I promise you I'd be more comfortable wearing a real Bluesey in the sea than I would in the street LOL =)
"And, if a Great White should happen by, I am absolutely certain that that this Casio Marlin would survive, wherever it is finally dropped off" (Really)
Truth...
Finally a review of an Invicta watch being pressure tested
Thanks Daryl, only snorkelling, so not too much pressure =) It's a very good watch for the money **Thumbs Up**
Lol pressure tested at 5 feet underwater? LMAO 😂😂
New subscriber - love the underwater approach .... my early Christmas wish is for you to do the two-tone Rolex Bluesy --- Great Channel!!
Thank you, that's very kind of you. My early Christmas wish would also be for me to do the two-tone Rolex Bluesy. Never, say never, but I think it might be a while before I get to that level. Just about ready to sell the Panerai and based on how much I get for that, will dictate what Underwater Watch gets taken underwater next =)
can you dive with the quartz version ?
I don't see why not. Check the Water Resistance rating for the watch and if it's got one... You're good to go. Just always make sure your crown is screwed down when you go in the water =)
Hey, you are one the best channel on RUclips! Your tests are very valuable for us. Thank you! :)
Hey, thank you! You're very kind =)
My daily driver is a 40mm ceramic sub. I really love my watch but damn this Pelagos is calling to me.
Personally... I was a little underwhelmed with the Pelagos. It's very nice, but... I don't know, so far on this journey my favourite watch has been the Omega Planet. That is gorgeous =)
Congrats on the PAM. I’m impressed you kept that magazine page from 27 yrs ago! Man what different times but that says something. Beautiful watch and I’m glad you’re taking it for it’s intended purpose underwater!
Thanks Mister T =) Yeah... Panerai seem to have dropped the ball a few times which is a shame. Cuz I remember the first time I saw one and it blew my mind =)
What's the difference with this model bn0151-17l and the bn0151-09l. Thanks
Hi, thanks for your comment. There was a thread on this about 6 years ago on the watchuseek forum. The general consensus of opinion is that they're the same watch. With the -17L being most available in the European web shops and the -09L being the international/US variant. Something about the market designation. Whichever one you get, you're getting a lot of watch for the money. Highly recommend it =)
@@underwaterwatchesunderwater that's great, thanks, I thought maybe one was a different shade of blue. Thanks again Jason
No other watch beats the legibility underwater than the Pelagos...
A bold claim... But I can live with it =) Thanks for your comment.
