I used to play against Keturboy in The Asian Dynasties before the servers closed, he is very good, he usually makes not so common strategies, like here for example, dock and 2 town centers with Germany. He was top in TAD, now he's top 10 in DE.

Hey brother, My elo shot up HUGE when I started scouting better to see where the enemy army is. I know it might add a lot of micro (5 to 10 actions per minute), but try and split 3 or 4 cheap cav (Dragoons, or Dutch Anti cav) to seperate areas of the map. You'll gain an EXTREME amount of information on where the enemy army is and position yourself in a way to counter attack, or surround an enemy, or have a better understanding of where to set your arty prior to an engagement. You can also find out if the enemy is on water by sending a cav to the shoreline.
