this looks surprisingly doable, I have a few dead pixels (got it for 40% off, so I can't really complain), and my model of screen goes for just over 100$, so I might just attempt this when I have the spare cash.
I have the same laptop with a broken screen the problem is I dont know wehre do buy the screen I don't want to give it to HP they give it for a to much price
