Great video. My same laptop display is flickering when you tilt the screen angle. I think it's the display cable, is that hard to replace after removing the screen as in this video? Thanks!
Thx for the very helpful video. I have a small problem though, when I open my laptop from a closed position I always hear a snap and I have a little resistance. Is it normal? I checked and it’s all glued perfectly. I don’t understand. Thank you for your answer.
While taking the screen out I can't seem to find the model number. It's the same model as shown in the video and it's never had the screen replaced, so I'm just confused on why I don't have the model number as I don't want to accidentally get the wrong part.
there are different models of the hp Omen 15 inch..... mine has 6 screws and the screen doesn't just fall out...... it's still held in place by something. still looking....
Be advised: remember to first disconnect the PC power AND BATTERY before you uninstall/reinstall the monitor, as the 16V power supplied to the screen might damage your graphics card core and therefore destroy your laptop completely.

I would think is the LCD. Not the cable. But you can give that a try.

Is the 17 same process? They're asking me 400 dollars to replace the screen and I'd prefer to just do it myself.
