      Agreed. I feel that at this point, it shouldn’t matter how they got to this level of suffering and addiction. It’s become so widespread that it seems everyone personally knows an addict. (Or is one) The problem isn’t getting better, and we need to try to figure out a way to find a solution. The drug epidemic is touching everyone’s lives in one way or another these days, whether you are and addict yourself or personally know one. We’re going to lose a whole generation if we (people in society, collectively everyone ) don’t get this under control somehow. 😢 (don’t know the answer, but wish we (people in general) started paying attention to it. You touched upon something that’s interesting there, Jeff. You were saying that you even hesitate to call yourself an addict by comparison. That’s a problem here in Canada as well. (Note - tranq is here now). many of the homeless in my city are brutal alcoholics but they’re having trouble getting help because they’re “just” alcoholics. It’s crazy to me that someone homeless and passed out on the ground can be considered “fine” because they’re not in the worst place yet.

    Oh my that poor girl.A year and a half she's had the wounds. She needs to be in the hospital before she loses both LE's. Feeling pain is actually a positive because her vascular system is still intact. She's so thin she needs extra protein and zinc in her diet. I hope she made it. They should have a hospital for addicts in this condition; specialty types because this epidemic is getting worse; retired RN ❤

    Even after been clean many years now, after she took a toke on that pipe I suddenly noticed I'd been holding my breath for a good 7 or 8 seconds until I realised what I was doing. Once she exhaled the smoke my mouth actually stated watering. Addiction really does re wire the brain even after stopping for a long time.

    Jeff have any of these wound patients been offered hyperbaric treatments, for wound healing. Many private companies offer these treatment. I have centers we see all walks of life Doctors, teachers, children ect. We could stay open for 24hrs day around the clock that is how high the demand is. We benefit many issues I won’t be talking about hear.

      No I don’t think. Most of these people have Medicaid if they have any health insurance at all. I’ve never heard of that being done yet to any of the people i talk to

    • @lindasutton4014
      @lindasutton4014 Год назад +1

      Most of our doctors pay with cash, for privacy. These centers are independent and do not require a doctors order to work from. Have you referenced Medicaid ruling on this treatment? As some of these people do have Medicaid. I’ve never had anyone visit us with Medicaid. But I will look up the ruling on this in my state. I really wish this was an option for any patient that needed help with wound healing because this treatment would be so beneficial for their healing. Thank you Jeff, I enjoy your videos.

    These are some tough Girls. Its like they have been through a War zone. Wounds and all.
    I am one of those people who just do not understand why and how they keep using that flesh rotting drug.
    I know withdrawal is terrible, but is it that much worse than literally having a limb rotting while you are alive. That seems like hell.
    And the worse part is, you have to watch it happen.

    Wow. Beautiful in out all around. Really. God bless this sister of mine. I am an addict myself and it hurts my heart so much to see this! We dont realize how *strong* we are man. Detox is rough. Any detox withdrawal is ruff. But smh the pain & torture of going thru this! Has and IS so much worst sis! Like really..it is.. what makes the withdrawal "unbearable" is the fact that we are *sober* we are feeling things..we are alert and aware..we feel weird ! We cant physically do a drug..we cant feel a rush..the different scenery. The not jungle like atmosphere! Thats what makes going away *seem* scary to many users. But im all realty its scarier to live being addicted to a drug yet alone a drug that has these kinds of effects. If the after effects i.e wounds and falling out,getting taken advantage of out weighs the "high" (smh if there even is one anymore at this point) its time to stop. The outcome of going into rehab to rehabilitate is beautiful and worth every day of your whole life. ❤ I pray to you Lord that you will guide us to the path of sobriety, righteousness, obediences,love,forgiveness & blessings and eternal life Lord God. In Jesus Name Amen 🙏💕
