I was a medic for over 15 yrs. Her wrist/hand problem can be anything from nerve damage to infection/sepsis or even a TIA (TIA is a per say mini stroke that offend is a warning sign of a future full blown stroke). Going to sleep and waking up with those types of signs and symptoms can be serious. I completely understand why many addicts do not seek medical care. But I also know that adding insult to injury can cause more problems they have to deal with. They deal with enough as it is. My heart and prayers go out to addicts. Many think they can just go get clean. It's not that simple. If it was, everyone would go get clean/sober. No one would be using to just stay "normal."

You hit the nail on the head-
      It exactly like that
Afraid of coming to and dealing with your choices..
It's the fear of; that needs to be overcome
Wish they can see that the fear is what keeps them trapped

Thank you..unfortunately if a addict doesn't get a doctor that stands by his oath and treats all patients equally, addicts get treated inhumanely and their medical issues just get dismissed without the proper tests and medical care. This causes addicts, the homeless and mentally ill to not seek further treatment. Our medical society especially doctors need to be reeducation on how to treat human beings of all walks of life. Plus the updated information on how to correctly treat someone in addiction is trickling in far too slow. Doctors do not know how to safely and adequately treat a patient with xylazine/tranq in their system. So many addicts are failing when it comes to detoxing and recovery because of this. With all our technology there should be no reason we can't find the right treatments. The government, our society, people in the medical community etc...should be working endlessly on saving all lives. But it's per say taboo and their lives aren't as important because many feel it's a choice and not a medical problem. What many seem to fail to realize that most addicts are addicts due to trauma/mental health problems or being prescribed narcotics by doctors for actual medical problems than stopped abruptly. They need to also look closer to what led people to become addicts as well. No one I ever met said when they were younger and were asked what they wanted to be when they grew up, responded by saying, "I want to be a addict." It saddens me to say I feel it will be a long time before the correct treatment is available. I continue to pray for them and offer support.

      Yeah, it's truly amazing.
      8 hours 0 Withdrawal and you're clean.
      Has an 80% success rate.
Hell, I didn't even get drug dreams or triggers when I'd what TV and see heroin use, or even when I see someone whose veins are so prominent, all of which used to trigger me.
All of the detoxes and rehabs in the US have same 10%-15% success rate as kicking cold turkey.
It's very good business to get you on Methadone Maintenance or Buprenophine. Those have a significantly worst kick than an Opiate like Heroin.
But that's why Ibogaine is banned in the US.
No money in actual treatment that's 80% success rate.
Anyways, keep doing the good work helping these people out.
Also, ignore all the normies who bitch in the comments about not giving your interviewees any money because they'll just use it to get high...
They don't understand that getting clean is a process that only works when the person is mentally ready. All you can do is let them know you're there for them when they are ready.
Normies who never used simply don't understand.

Tranq is actually a large animal tranquilizer used on farm animals so they can be operated on without lying down. This is why we see the bent over effect with ppl. They’re deliberately adding this to the fentanyl because fentanyl alone, while 100x’s more potent than heroin, doesn’t give any nod effect. So that’s why they add it so the user gets the much wanted “nod”. I’ve never used tranq but is an amplified Benzo and we’re hearing it’s harder for opioid addicts to stop because they’re not receiving ANY treatment for the Tranq when they try MAT(medication assisted treatment).
