I think overall, Perrie beat Christina in the belts because of the upper belts, but they were very close up till and including the eb5 (although I know theres gonna be people in the comments confusing distortion/drive with strain as there always is). It's surprised me, tbh and Christina, gave Perrie a good run for her money on the E5s and wasn't too far off her on the F5s and one or two f#5's either. Head voice/falsetto I have to give to Christina, overall she was more stable, had more freedom in the notes, a better tonal quality and more able to manouver around this register than Perrie although Perrie also did very well. I think even though I'm leaning slightly more towards Christina's technique overall, I do think they are very close, so I can see much of people's decisions in this being determined by who they prefer and then trying to justify by amplifying small differences or exaggerating flaws. @@dv4975 Anyone that knows even a bit about vocal technique would know that Christina’s technique is not sustainable. People defend her horrible technique with excuses such as soulfulness but there have been and still are many soulful singers and vocalists that ALSO maintain good vocal technique, including Perrie. Frankly speaking, other than her falsetto and vocal agility, none of Christina’s vocal registers are anything special compared to Perrie’s. Perrie is a classically trained vocalist with development in all of her registers (her vocal agility does need some work though so I’ll give that to Christina).
Low Notes: Xtina Belts : Tie (but Perrie’s technique is better) Mixed Notes: Perrie’s sound so much healthier Upper Register: Tie (Xtina’s is so gorgeous and pretty, while Perrie’s is so strong and operatic)
Perrie's voice has less tension, however, even though Xtina has some atrocious moments, atleast she can project hard. Perrie's tone isn't nearly as interesting as Xtina's.
xtina got the voice in every way....cos her voice have quality more than another singer....xtina have her own voice....i love perrie she include good singer n she has a voice too
Both have similar tones which is really pretty and thick. I think perries got lighter over the years compared to most of these old clips but still has some darkness imo. Now they both have annoying habits like over singing and just being over the top dragging out certain high notes and it just kinda ruins the song FOR ME and it’s like ok we get it you can hold your breath for a long time now relax 😅 they also put damage on their vocals doing all those unnecessary vocal holds and extensions but they are still really good vocalist. Now who is better I think Christina is. I’ve listened to here since the late 90’s early 2000’s and she just has not only a powerful voice but she can do more than just high notes. She can do many styles of singing and she is just iconic. I know many will come here and say perrie is better but I’m sorry she has to show me more in her solo career to surpass christina and what she did in little mix was great but the real showing will be by herself, people said she was held back in the group? Ok let’s see it.
Hope you liked It! 💙

Christina has 30 points and Perrie has 50 points. Perrie wins by miles! Christina has such amazing control over her falsetto though! It's almost as rich as a proper head voice like Perrie's and her lows are no joke either but her belts need a LOT of work.
You pointing out some lipped notes but saying the Forget About Us F#5 is free and grounded when It's like clearly pre recorded It's sending me 🗣️
@@popvocalstv Perrie has been delivering some pretty good upper belts lately so it is very much possible that the whole performance was live. She has had almost 2 years of rest from live singing so I'm sure she has had lots of time to work on her weak areas. Plus, she has performed like 4 times in the past 2 years so her voice isn't getting worn out as easily as it usually would.
@@varunravi27 The high notes were pre recorded, as well as the E5 in Tears and some parts of iwdws, if you look at fancams you will notice the difference in volume + the fact that she moves her head exaggeratedly like she usually does when she's lip syncing, sadly the closest we have of live attempts of FAU's high notes is the acoustic version which is still not THAT live... 😕
You’re literally insane if you Think perri is better than Xtina
@@dv4975 Anyone that knows even a bit about vocal technique would know that Christina’s technique is not sustainable. People defend her horrible technique with excuses such as soulfulness but there have been and still are many soulful singers and vocalists that ALSO maintain good vocal technique, including Perrie. Frankly speaking, other than her falsetto and vocal agility, none of Christina’s vocal registers are anything special compared to Perrie’s. Perrie is a classically trained vocalist with development in all of her registers (her vocal agility does need some work though so I’ll give that to Christina).
Low Notes: Xtina
Belts : Tie (but Perrie’s technique is better)
Mixed Notes: Perrie’s sound so much healthier
Upper Register: Tie (Xtina’s is so gorgeous and pretty, while Perrie’s is so strong and operatic)
10:46 I don't think that G5 came out lol
queen of vocal cracks!
@@graysang5386 crack register lol
Perrie's voice has less tension, however, even though Xtina has some atrocious moments, atleast she can project hard. Perrie's tone isn't nearly as interesting as Xtina's.
Both are very similar and amazing vocalists , but i think perrie is technique better than Xtina .
Perrie
Christina's power is unmatched. She rocks. Her voice is like a storm
Perrie for me, but the falsetto goes to Christina, and head voice for Perrie.
Perrie has mor control in my opinion.
Perrie is a better vocalist but both are really good
xtina got the voice in every way....cos her voice have quality more than another singer....xtina have her own voice....i love perrie she include good singer n she has a voice too
Christina is beyond Perri
not that far hun!!!
Yes beyond worse
@@sangtearalte5485 you are literally insane if you think perri is even close to Christina
@@dv4975 what???Perrie is an amazing singer too...just like christina...so what?!!
@@dv4975 you’re right. Perrie isn’t close to Christina cause Perrie is faaarrr better
Ok let’s see it.
both are still better than leighanne 🥰

Both body leighannes weak bland vocals
Christina is better.
The fact there are actual people who thinks Perrie is better than Christina is just insane 💀
cause technically she is better than Xtina, xtinas great Perries just a better vocalist
Nothing compares to Xtina.
Btw I love them both so much
