😮WOWWWW BLUD THESE ARE THE ALCO-RSD8 THE SAME ONE THAT OPERATED HERE IN THE NORTHEAST OF BRAZIL! WELL THEY STILL CIRCULATE IN SOME SECTIONS! BUT I'M AMAZED THAT THESE ENGINES RIVE IN JAMAICA TOO!
I remember when train gates were manualy open,we had four gates that i know of in annotto bay the persons who open the gates live close to the gates the train use to run from from port antonio through annotto bay.
Hey, Canadian railroad worker here. Do you guys have crossing that have lights and gates to protect the public from motor vehicle accidents? Is there a signal system to govern train movements?
No we dont have gate that automatically come down and go up to govern railroad movement. What we have is manual gates that or govern by men and women employed by both (JRC jamaica Railroad Corperation) and ( UC Rusal Windalco ) to open and close the gate for either Passenger train service or Bauxite train service
As a Jamaican I'm proud of my country big up Jamaicans

I saw a video and they had to extend gates you see at private properties since the crossing lights weren’t working
