Vladimir's pun game is on point, he's very entertaining. He's probably about to die right where the demo cut off, but I'm hoping I'm wrong and he sticks around. I actually wouldn't mind if he turned out to be the big bad, that would be funny. I'm intrigued by this setup, the demo did its job well.
main character may be an edgy mega tsundere, but I sense some deep character development with the little jerk. Vladimir is as lovable as he is mysterious, would like to see what secrets lie within him as well, good or bad. The horror tag is probably the biggest point reeling me in, I love adorable and innocent games that just suddenly dive down into pure nightmare fuel.

Some suggestions for future RPG maker games: It’s not finished yet, but can you play Midnight Train when it’s done? Same creator as Aria’s Story (2.0 version exists). Also the first few chapters of Traumerei have been released (the demo you played before isn’t canon and was more of a test than anything). And I think Zmakesgames may have commented on one of your vids? But they made a game called Mare. Mainly commenting because these devs don’t get a lot of coverage from bigger youtubers, and I think people would like to see their games. ^^ But don’t let my comment overwhelm you and keep playing what you want to play. And I have mixed feelings on games in general, but want to support their work. Also these are kind of notes for people who are interested. Take care all during this time.
Holy shit. I'm in love with this game!! The character interactions remind me a lot of a Toby Fox game, since they seem so genuine? If that makes sense? Like, they're just so charming, even if Chris is a bit too edgy imo lol. Also the art style reminds me so much of NomNomNami's style! _It’s the friends you meet along the way_ There's very cute art and it seems like there's a story beyond the be sociable, talk to people, be open to making friends, etc. Not every introvert or stoic isolationist might agree with those things - maybe that's where the horror will come in? I'm happy to see more meaningful quests, even if they just involve returning plushies and character traits other than "sweet". I enjoyed the puns, especially MBH’s. I'm sure we'll see MBH do a full playthrough of the final game.
Vlad is totally one of those characters that is jokey and friendly as a way to hide their crushing loneliness and/or trauma. I'm interested to see if the game has any more party members or what kind of interactions in general Vlad might have. And he is definitely a foil to the main character, contrasts his gloominess and snaps him out of his tendency to get stuck in his own thoughts during monologues.

I feel like its more of an anime trope in general. That and most of these games are inspired by fairy tales which are steeped in German/Germanic-ish/European culture. I think its less that it sounds scary and more that it sounds cool

Also yeah, he does reminds me of Sans. The part with "Because they don't mind it at all."(not direct quote) is suspect. Is it multiple endings? Maybe if you don't talk to him/them enough, you get the bad end.
Ohhh yes, I watched that one so incredibly often. That T-rex is still one of the scariest things in cartoon movies ever. Bluth is *chef's kiss*. We don't talk about the sequels though ;)

On top of that Vladimir was making light of the situation and his distress when he first met him, and he insists on the barely teenaged MC around when he's like 30. Dude's creepy and MC is right to be an ass to him imo
