I live in Hamburg and I have to say the level of detail on this route is just incredible! There are two generations of drivable rolling stock (with different variants and versions each) and a whole bunch of custom ai rolling stock including stuff like a littler shutter. The developer even made custom ai busses that look like the correct Hamburg busses. The stations are all immediately recognizable and the sounds are absolutely brilliant even featuring accurate running sounds at specific points in the route that have especially tight turns. And then there are things like enhanced door controls to allow the doors to be unlocked and opened only if used by passengers instead of just opening them all, the correct (still) image for every station in the security camera etc. Oh and the announcements are the actual ones you‘d hear on the trains.
2:37 fyi, subwaysim 2 will be coming to console, with the hamburg route from the original game as well as berlin lines U1 and U3! there’s no original release date yet, but it looks mostly complete
