      I will get even more amazed when one gets blown up (not that I hate SpaceX, I just love explosions). But I miss the old days, when there was actually good footage of falcon 9s landing on drone ships or land (helicopters were used, I think)

    I love how landing an orbital class rocket booster for the 7th time has become such a routine event!
    Yet, every single launch and landing is still very, very exciting!!

    I love SpaceX narrators. They always pick someone knowledgeble who is always smiling and is obviously very proud. They are the ones who spark my interest in these incredible achievements!

    A reusable rocket that actually does something useful. SpaceX staff are great and I admire that they can mult-task as presenters without hyperbole. Very professional.

      The best part is that they don't "dumb it down" the way NASA commenters do. They just tell us what is happening, when it's happening, and why.

    Hello fellow rocketry nerds. I rarely miss a lauch/landing attempt. These broomsticks are fascinating pieces of engineering. SpaceX changed the game.

      I think it has to do with camera position and rotation before landing. Coming in at a slight angle. They may have changed to kerosine mix to be leaner too.

      Return to launch site (RTLS) are probably the best in my opininion. But this was definitely some, if not the best footage from the drone barge cameras. The best from the booster was probably this one @27:22 ruclips.net/video/Uy9Jn-3vuPs/видео.html

    I remember watching those old black and white sci-fi movies where the rockets landed vertically on some far off planet. I thought to myself back then...how unrealistic. Amazing how time and technology change everything. We can only imagine what wonders the future holds.

      There has never been a problem with the camera. It is only the transmission.

      @@odysseusrex5908 Correct. That’s what I was meaning. The camera signal usually cuts off because of the turbulence to the signal. But this one was a beauty!

    SpaceX made launches so easy that their employees don't even celebrate that much. At this pace space launches will be like an airplane take-off.       Yeah, the head of the Russian Space Agency 'Roscosmos', he also used the term 'Trampoline' before the Crew Demo flight, hence Elon's joke about 'The Trampoline is working; in the Media Briefing.

    Not realizing it was doing the dogleg maneuver, the exhaust plumes on first stage looked very asymmetric and curved. Then on looking at the orbit it all made sense. It was curved. Still love the excitement!

      I thought it was just the camera angle. These super-wide angle lenses distort the image a lot.

    So where does the second stage land are they bringing that back from the South Pole to Florida for a land landing?

      The second stage is not recovered. It is usually de-orbited and burns up in the atmosphere.

      Second stage is not landing. Never did. It burns in the atmosphere after the cargo is on the orbit. Only the first stage boosters are reusable.

    At 1:37 I'll deduce that the blinking object off to the right going from bottom to top is one of the satellites just deployed? At 1:38 when blinky is at top. What is that streaking at amazing speed across the screen middle to right?

    That is a cool name, "Just read the instructions," for the drone ship.
    You should hold some contest for future drone ship names. Some I would like to see voted on would be,
    1. In two weeks.
    2. I gotcha.
    3. X marks the spot

    Is the difference in color of the ocean around 20:43 where the continental shelf is? (using 23:51 map as reference)

    Was on the Space Coast when this happened, I knew it was going to happen but I thought the launch was at 4 pm. I was eating at a Restaurant when I heard the rwar or the engines, looked outside and sure enough there it was.

    Why stage seperation, in this mission, was at higher altitude than their other missions?
    How insanely the first stage reached upto 220 km. altitude before reenter.Normally it would reach upto 140 km.in other falcon9 missions.
    Why in this mission it took more than 10 minutes to land first stage on droneship whereas it normally would take less than 9 minutes earlier.
    How was this mission different from earlier misssions considering significant changes in figures of stage I telemetry.
