The end of an era! Congrats to everyone who made this happen for the last SIX decades of service! You all helped humanity expand our knowledge into the stars, and Vulcan will pick up the torch and keep going!
I'm so proud of my time working on the Delta program with so many skilled and passionate people. I still keep my challenge coins at my desk to remind me of where I came from. Loved seeing Dane in the video during the hold. A huge congrats to the team from this former HYE, love from ENG 413.
Can't believe this vehicle is one for the books now. I remember the Titan IV (that this replaced) launch that made us think the Northridge earthquake in 94 was just another secret launch from VAFB. We rolled over and went back to sleep.
Congratulations to the ULA teams, and all the other workers who have worked on delta rockets over the past 6 decades! The most metal rocket sure gave us a great final show to send off an era in American spaceflight! 🔥🤘🤘
I'm no rocket scientist but I can still congratulate the ULA team past and present for their tremendously reliable launch technology and contribution to the advancement of Homespatians.
Farewell delta We will tell stories of your heroism and service for many generations to come and we shall wait for your return in popularity in the hall of the heavy lift rockets For a champion has fallen A heavy lifter, a rocket, a friend Long live delta 🫡
Anyone know what the EPL acronym stands for, after the strap on separation the guy said the core booster is now at EPL or ETL, what does that stand for. Thanks
While delta iv heavy is so cool, an all hydrogen/oxygen rocket, but it’s so expensive especially in todays SpaceX era. It costs $400 million per launch.
Hells yes. I'm never not amazed by any of these larger/heavier launch vehicles getting out off the launchpad and 'puttin' the spurs to her' to going into orbit!
Huge fan of your successes and earnest efforts. Your comment could use some clarification on your rocket doing things no other rock it could. if it’s a contract or governmental secrecy or other… that is preventing other rockets from doing - and not the actual rocket’s capability -then that statement is misleading. Other than that congrats congrats congrats and continue good work
One day I dream of a launch not marred by the insipid, condescending voice of a clueless commentator. Please stop repeating what we can clearly hear on mission control. or at least be on time with it. Explanations of terms like BECO and MAX-Q are welcome for people new to launches. We all had to learn. But this was just and awful and disrespectful sendoff to one of the greats. The camera work was crap, the resolution was crap. I can only hope you treat Vulcan better. This was painful to watch.
28:51- Beginning of Terminal Count.
31:51 for the final minute.
32:41 for the final 10 seconds.
Thanks ULA for the beautiful views from the last Delta launch.
Delta IV Heavy was a badass rocket. She will be missed.

feel blessed that i had the honor to witness one of these launches. great program

Fly high, Delta
Congratulations to ULA and the Delta IV team. A great send off to a storied rocket program.

Congratulations ULA team and everyone involved on an impressive last flight. You all have a stellar history to be proud of.

Not being rocket scientist is not rocket science
Farewell delta

Long live delta

Farewell
SLS uses boosters also.
At about 35:30 (t+2:39) you can see the fwd booster attach and some of the booster wall in the shock zone starting to char over the next minute or so.
Highest Isp booster we might see liftoff for quite some time. This rocket was a fine tuned machine.
We'll done ULA and teams!
That’s gotta be the LOUDEST Delta IV heavy launch I’ve ever seen!
Im so glad i saw this beast roar on the flight before this. What an experience, and i miss this rocket already.
32:48 Absolutely ❤
😭😭😭😭sad but farewell big orange boi
ULA! ВСЕГО НАИЛУЧШЕГО! Вы ЛУЧШИЕ! Спасибо! Отличная РН. Спасибо. Пойду плакать по ушедшей Красоте.
Good job ladies and gents. Beautiful send off for a beautiful rocket.
No sound suppression water? Didn't see any on the pad or in the shot of engine ignition.
Cya Delta Heavy it's been a good run!
Congratulations everyone!
Good luck with Vulcan!
Bye Bye D4H, remember an early launch I saw was the EFT-1.
Cool, but an expensive rocket, good farewell to it.
In the tune of $500 million. What a waste.
Goodbye Delta IV! 😢
Hi guys looking forward to this 😮
Beginning part -> WOW 🔥🔥🔥🚀
Anyone know what the EPL acronym stands for, after the strap on separation the guy said the core booster is now at EPL or ETL, what does that stand for. Thanks
Wow, that was a pretty launch
This is the best launch of delta IV we love it😢😢😢😢😢😢😢
Bye, Delta. We'll miss you🥺🫡
Godspeed, Delta IV Heavy. 🥹
While delta iv heavy is so cool, an all hydrogen/oxygen rocket, but it’s so expensive especially in todays SpaceX era. It costs $400 million per launch.
Tory is such a gentleman!
Couldn’t they have used a better term for the side boosters than strap-ons?
I was at the Kennedy Space Center to watch the initial launch when it was scrubbed… Nice to see it anyway
Is any of it reused? How much per ton to LEO and GSO?
Such a badass rocket 🚀
32:45 One last fireball
i wish brought start all 3 engine back like 2004 maiden flight DIVH.
No telemetry..... ?
farewell, delta 4!😢
Great job!
I received the paper craft data.🌠
3:39- Not quite there yet.
Congrats
Всем огромное Спасибо!💖💗💙💚💛🖤🤎💜
Goodbye, the most metal (and also the most handome) of rockets!
13:52- Beginning of the 15 minute built-in hold.
Shocked to learn that the earth is round!
Delta IV Heavy 🫡💧
Goodbye delta
Congratulations.
26:59- That would be Dillon Rice as the Assistant Launch Conductor.
Do you mean Dylan?.
@@snowdog03No.
God speed delta IV
Go delta!
Why??? there are already tousend of fakelites 🤔
I heard nautical miles, miles per hour, and km in the span of a minute.
Hells yes. I'm never not amazed by any of these larger/heavier launch vehicles getting out off the launchpad and 'puttin' the spurs to her' to going into orbit!

bye delta
Farewell old friend...
Why does this woman speak during a rocket launch? Can you cut out her voice please🤔
RIP in peace :(
Hammes Square
Muller Oval
Monroe Turnpike
Farewell orange
Romaguera Harbors
That lady is annoying.
It never took off
It did.
way to go using copyrighted music so every streamer had to block your audio and provide their own audio ruining the launch
Well I just streamed this too, so seeing this comment makes me feel a little anxious now lol
Lol the launch wasn't ruined
So mute it...sheesh...
lol you expect a major company to use royalty free music? Get outta here 😂
“You ruined the launch with your music” lmfaooo
Seems so meh when the boosters aren't reusable lol

Why was it painful to watch? Each and every one of these commentators has a purpose in this program. Why question it to begin with?
@@johnnyphilon7506 Was hers to be condescending and talk over mission control with drivel?
Good bud and good riddance to hyper expensive dinosaur
Look at that giant hunk of trash... SpaceX did it better.
F9 and FH ride on the shoulders of names like Atlas and Delta. Learn some history before running your mouth.
You folks act and talk like you know something. Just stick to your glue models. That's about as far as you'll get in the space program anyway's..😆😆😆😆😆
