I have a square piece of a very pale green stone, that has a white patch on one side & has a mat finish. I bought it at a trolley museum. It was in a basket with other stones, like Carnelian & Red Jasper. The stones were very pretty. I think the sign listed it as a Jade, however the sign also had a name for this variety and I think it was a Chinese name. Would you know what the name is & if this is a genuine Jade?
I was on a Christmas party since "december 21st 2024" but i was on a rock field with many rock then i cant belive le luck 😮😮😮 i just found a jade that is colored with a weord green color but when it gets older i hope it turns into normal green but i found another jade next to my car buried in the soil, i was panicking in luck that i dig the soil with my nails so hard that it the soil is too hard but the 2nd jade popped with dirt that i wiped the dirt with my hands but my father wiped the soil with clean wipes and thats how i got my 2 jadeites "is my comment very long?"
Sorry for my bad English. I grew up in a Buddhist Asian household and the ladies usually wear jade bangle. So I guess it’s apart of my culture. I can’t afford nothing over 200+ 🤣 and I want one SOOOO bad. I wanna buy one off Marketplace (I’m in BC) the sellers classify as “natural jade” I’m so clueless and also I don’t know what size lol :( HELP!!!!! I bought a cheap one from SHEIN and it doesn’t even fit and looks like straight up green plastic bracelet 🥴
There are affordable bangle options out there. :) I have a video on how to measure your bangle size, and your local jewelry store might be able to measure you as well. If shopping in the $200 range, I suggest buying nephrite jade - which doesn’t have to be labeled “natural” as green nephrite jewelry is seldom treated. Thank you for the heads up on the differences in Jade. I was born in June so my birthstone is the Pearl and my mineral is Alexandrite!😊

First fell in love with jade when i saw nephrite jade. Nephrite is better for me
Nephrite comes off more masculine to me richer and darker in colour
