Just going to say I have been slogging through a UH play through for the last 3 months. After watching a few of your vids I caught the mistakes I made setting up my newgame + source save I have surpassed my previous save in less then 6 hours. At the very least I now know which mods I need to put on what weapons so I can farm better mods.

Absolutely plan on making similar content for Horizon: Forbidden West. In terms of coil farming, unqiue DLC coils and weaves such as the Pristine Weapon Coil are available once per playthrough. These coils and weaves have Yellow hash marks in + pattern around the border. The other coils are random RNG from various sources, the primary source for most players being hunting large machines.

I only got one 67% handling, damage and freeze coil. Need more of those. Thunderjaws killed 1.500 currently on level 330. 17 playthrough's. By the way do you know why there is no such thing as freeze coil with handling? They only come with damage as secondary.
Play through base game story, do only what you need. Play through DLC story, do only what you need. Complete “Out of The Forge”, get a Pristine weapon coil. Save file for NG+ Start NG+ and repeat steps until you have all the Pristine Weapon Coils you want/need.
Hey, Maybe you can show the location where can get it 67% handling Coil? Can get 67% on UH? 🤔 And meaby you know why wild frozen its Not 100% i have All finish but only 93.20% I don't know what else to do🤷♂️🤦♂️

@@mindaugasleskauskas1980 That's not a Pristine Weapon Coil, that's a hidebound Weapon coil. Pristine Weapon coils are 51% Damage 47% Handling and 35% Tear.
This should have a disclaimer that you can't get most of this shit unless you're on your millionth playthrough on ultra new game hardcore plus mega chad.

Luck and time spent farming.
Unsure about the specifics, but stealth reduces your noise and visibility to enemies.

How do you have so many pristine and high stealth percentage modifications? Just a ton of play throughs?
That is exactly it! Many playthroughs for Pristine Weapon Coils and "Hammer and Steel" farm for optimal main game RNG coils/weaves.

Why no Freeze coils with Handling secondary?
Unsure, I suppose GG may have been trying to balance Freeze a bit, but that's just a guess.
So for the pristine coils; is the method to complete several NG+ playthroughs and just create increasingly OP loadouts each time?

How you got 3 pristine weapon coil? I got only one in NG+ ultra hard.
I have 30 or more Pristine Weapon Coils. You can get 1 per playthrough of main game story and NG+ story.

No specific location a player can easily get a 67% Handling at, just takes time.
I know this is an old video but how do you get an adept lodge weapon?????
Adept Weapons and Armor come from NG+ playthroughs.

They are extremely rare drops from anywhere and anything that drops purple coils.
any tips where to best farm them? in regular game, or do you have to go the + ?@@Psykko_
@rauliuxaa my go to spots are the hammer and stone mission bug as well as the singular Thunderjaw location north/northwest of Meridian

Since Ultra Hard was released, all but one of my playthroughs are on Ultra Hard. The best coils are hard to find!
