Didn't you install the oil guide in the wrong way round at 5:24? then do it right just after when you realised the clip was missing lol. You should really do an edit so that it doesn't mislead others.
@@KeepOnWrenching My best advice here is get a parts catalogue to go with your shop manual, the parts book will show which way round and the install order of components, cheers mate :)
@@KeepOnWrenching You addressed the clip but not the orientation of the oil guide, you said the 'mystery piece' was fitted tabs down but they ain't. You just forgot to mention it when you fitted it tabs up minutes later, no worries :D
I just checked the book, removed and double checked. I was right. Phew. It only really goes together one way. I’ll add a clarification note. Thanks, man!
@@KeepOnWrenching My point was at 5:20 it was fitted upside down but at 6:34 it's the correct way round, I felt this might confuse your viewers, but yes it will only work the right way round but would be disastrous if someone tried to fit it the wrong way round as you initially did. :)
The side covers came out perfect. Better than new. Wow!
Yeah, man. It took some work. Dreading the clutch cover. It’s the last hurdle. It’s so bad. It’s gonna take a ton of 400 grit to get that one done.
I'm so glad you remembered the wire retaining clip for the oil guide :) Looking great Brian, keep going :)
I think I got that right...
Where did you buy your gasket set? Doing a full rebuild and common moto has been out of stock for awhile.
You could try 4into1. I think I did get these from CMC.
That oil filter cover is one of the most fragile parts on that engine when trying to remove it, they chip and break very easily ;)
I could see how! Got lucky again! Lol.
so close
SUPER CLOSE.

Not sure I’m following. Didn’t I address that?
