I read on a forum that using Diesel engine 15w40 was good and adding zinc will help on these old a$$ bikes. I was thinking about trying it out
I’ve heard that too. Apparently there’s a good Honda brand oil available.
The DN4 has the proper amount of zinc etc specifically for Honda

You should be using Honda dn4 that’s what I use in my Honda it’s oem oil and off eBay it’s less expensive than other oil. Honda DN4
Will do! I won’t be running this oil very long. Will get some of what you mentioned for the next change. This bugger hasn’t run in 30 years so I will be sure to run it a little then change it out. Thanks for the info!
