Honestly, Meguro peaked on Raidou and Devil Saga. He just ran out of tracks to write after that and started making the same ones over and over again, just change a little bit here and there.

@@BiggusWeeabus found out in the mean time, it's the normal boss theme for the Akira route in the ps1 version (and I guess psx too) of if. Akira route is basically ng+ only. the snes version uses the smt I boss theme.

No. Tsukasa Masuko was already not working with Atlus by the time this version of the game was released. Kenichi Tsuchiya simply understands very well how to emulate the style of Tsukasa Masuko.
@@firestar4407 tsukusa hasn't worked on anything atlus for a while so i doubt it, but tsuchiya worked on p5r so im hopeful for him :D. tsuchiya has composed for more megaten games than tsukusa and meguro so my hopes are high

Funnily enough the series Fiend theme was made by him and not Meguro. Some of his IV tracks are also bangers like the Archangel one.
