Not the trilogy I was expecting when I saw the title ... but you watched the Trilogy of Lights (the only official trilogy as such) 6 months ago. As for missing them at the O2 - it is one day, their biggest show in the UK, the finale of the European Arena tour - what do you mean you'll be working?! Take a day off, you can work every day, you won't get this chance to see BABYMETAL do an arena concert in the UK very often. 'Distortion' was released in 2018 and was the first MV that did not feature the girls at all. Yui was still a member but unable to perform, the visuals are all about the Dark Side lore and the Chosen Seven. Su-metal got her first official writing credit for 'Divine Attack - Shingeki', she liked the song so much when they heard the demo that she said she wanted to write the lyrics - which she did. The English version of 'Elevator Girl' isn't as popular among the fans as the original Japanese version. Musically they are the same of course, but the English lyrics don't scan as well and, not being a translation of the original, they are a bit "twee".
Nice info. I only chose these three because I haven't heard any of them at all. Since YT recommended me one of these, I decided to check out the others. As I said in the video, I missed a lot of Babymetal songs in the past. I'm slowly trying to catch up. As for the concert, they have been here in the UK a couple of times because one of their labels is a British one. So, they will be back again someday. I may get to see them then. But really appreciate the background you did here. Thanks :)
@@Aatish2k8 Oh I absolutely got why you chose these 3 songs as you hadn't heard them, it was the "trilogy" that threw me for a second before I realised what you were doing. Go on, take a day off. You're right, they probably will be back, but there is no telling when they will be back in the UK (look what happened in 2020-21) plus it is their first arena concert here since Wembley ... that was 2016. I was new to them and missed that - and I regretted it ever since. Don't make the same mistake I made. Will it be another 8 years, will it happen again? OTFGK, don't miss the opportunity ... you have 7 months to plan a day off work, go on, take the risk.🦊👍

Divine Attack is my personal favorite from these 3. I play it all the time when I’m driving, really makes me wanna break traffic laws 😂. It was extra epic when I first heard it, then I learned she wrote the lyrics to boot! Hope you do more Babymetal soon, you been slackin’ 😉 🤘🦊
Divine Attack has a special place in my heart, because it was the first life sign after their long (at least to my perception) hiatus, and hearing Su's voice in a new song got me so emotional that her first few words drove me to tears right away.
As said, not the trilogy we expected, but good one, hehe... Now you need to check out the live versions. 😉 That "Divine Attack" visualizer was the way they came out of their hiatus in October 2022. And honestly, it's just a visualizer but it felt like Heaven. What a bummer you can't make it at the O2. I got my tickets immediately... and I'm not even from the UK. 😁 🤘🦊

@@Aatish2k8 Thanks!! I'm not very fan of fancams. I've actually ranted many times against filming a whole song or a whole concert. I understand fancams only for short clips. In my opinion, attendees should be at the venue living the performance, not paying attention to their phones. I consider that disrespect to the bands. Then, there is the fact of the poor quality of the videos. That is also a disrespect to the viewers. This particular concert will be probably recorded professionally to be included in a Blu-ray. In similar concerts in Japan, filming or taking photos is strictly prohibited. So I'm sorry I'm not going to upload anything... but we will (hopefully) have a new Blu-ray to spend our money on. 😁

Distortion Live at Download 2018 & Divine Attack Live at PIA Arena 2023 are the ones to watch. The Distortion MV is all sci-fi/fantasy lore stuff portraying "The Chosen Seven" and does not shownthe girls at all.
The three songs are not a trilogy...even on different albums...the real trilogy, namely Stalight, Shine, and Arkadia, is on the Metal Galaxy album and the song Da Da Dance is one on that album...🙏🙏🙏🦊🦊🦊
I started out thinking, it has been a long time since I watched the Music Videos, so this will be nice for a change. But my god the sound is so much worse than I remembered. It's not that the sound is really bad. It is just that BabyMetal and the Kami band are spoiling us with their incredible live performances. You get a like for the passion you have for BabyMetal, and for reminding me to stay away from the newer music videos 🙂
