I thought for one hot second that the Karma Cola was going into that PSU ! BANG indeed ! Great performing PSU this with enough juice to keep most PC builds in sweet sweet power.
I went with the CORSAIR SFX-L 1000W PSU as it has three PCIE cables included, which I needed for my SAPPHIRE NITRO+ 7900XTX. The three PCIE cables is an AMD thing for the 7000 series but there are previous generation cards that use three PCIE connectors. That is a nice Themaltake power supply.
I picked this up for my Tower 300, 4070 build. It's 103mm long and with a Silverstone bracket, it helps avoid blocking most of the bottom 420 fan. I plan on getting a 4090 down the line. The only minor complaint is the cpu cable is short for matx SFF builds.
@mikesunboxing I briefly had an NR200 V2, and the cable is long enough for this, but not an MATX SFF build imo. I bought an extension for $10 and issue resolved. BTW, thank you for the oem key link, i just got my win11 pro activated 👍
I picked up a 4090 and switched to a 7800x3d with the zero board. Two notes: the zero board still needed the cpu extensions for the Tower 300 and the psu is working like a champ with the 4090.
Thanks Mike! It's great how you give us a good look into these products. Needed 1000W in a rather tight Case, (not SFX) great to see the ATX adapter plate. I was placing my order as I was watching this and was a bit grumpy about only having the 2 PCIe cables, (doubled) in the kit as I required 3 for my RTX 3090 and don't trust using a doubled cable. Thanks to you pointing out you could adapt the MOLEX to a PCIe, I just added that connector to my order, worries solved!
@@mikesunboxing fair. i think this is a solid psu for sfx esp with the 2x6 atx 3.1 spec. but corsair make some quality units too esp with the newly released range
Having recently bought an MSI psu for my pc I was curious if eps and pcie cables used same ports. You've answered that worry! I can understand why these small psu;s cost more with high quality parts and so little room to breath. Thanks for reviewing Mike and Kath 👍
Can you please do a review on the uphere d6dc, I know you did the review on the u2c, but there aren't any on the new one. I'm curious how the dual heat sinks perform vs thermalright spirit 120.
@mikesunboxing let's gooooooo!! I'm curious about how they compare, especially because they're the same price, but the uphere one looks better in my opinion.
What a very cute little power supply, I might possibly get one of these at some point. I recently bought a Corsair SFX-L 1000w power supply to do a build with but this is smaller in size. I'd be interested to know what case you are likely to go with though for this, I've not seen any that takes me fancy to be honest. :(
yeah i am not sure, i will likely wait until after computex and see if there is anything new otherwise it might be the tower 100 or a SFF skeleton build
Hi I just build a gaming PC in a Fractal Design Ridge case with R7 7800x3d + rtx 4070 Ti S with this PSU and works beautifully for . I'm capping the framerate at 60fps and the PSUs fan almost always is off. For an ITX case this PSU is perfect.

WoW the PSU is really small 😲
Love the review of this.
so Thank you very much Mike 😀
Ps: 261,90 € is not cheap.
And thats only the Thermaltake ToughPower SFX Gold ATX/ITX 3.0 PCle 5.0 1000 Watt 😞
It's adorable, lil' baby Tt.

have you tried karma cola? it is really nice. George buys it in bulk
That's an absolute beauty of a PSU!
yeah it really is top notch, arguably the best PSU i have ever owned

Good for a compact NAS build 🤤

Cool vid mate, money wise not a bad price here in the US $199 not cheap but better then some.
hard to put a price on this, it is quite a niche product
Thanks for this Informative video for this PSU :)
Most welcome!
this vs the sf1000 corsair?
not tried the corsair myself sorry so would be unfair for me to compare

can the 600W gpu cable bend 90 degrees?
over a distance it can

I can see where it may be needed but it's rather pricey.
How about some noise tests. That is usually a problem with sfx psus.
yeah i understand, i will try to do that
@@mikesunboxingsuppo brotha do you have a video for the testing of this already?
i went from SFX to ATX. is there a set of extension cables compatible with this PSU you recommend?
not really any that i would recommend but the cablemods ones seem to be of a good quality
why?
Oh no warranty void sticker triggered 😮😮 lol
haha i had to really.
It’x cases are truly recommend for small micro systems not atx!
only wish they used more flexible wires those flat strips they use suck and are hard to bend and the only reason I do not buy this PSU .
i find these really flexible, but i hear you
100% japanese bro i can see it saying made in china 💀💀💀
