- Twenty years ago today, 12-year-old Muhammad al-Durrah was killed by Israeli gunfire as his father tried to shield him from bullets.
The footage was broadcast around the world and became the defining image of the Second Intifada

I remember that video , when I was a teenager I couldn’t sleep for nights and I even cried . I remember my mum said to me “ you were talking during the night about it while you were sleeping “, for me was painful and now that I’m 40 still remember it. I’m praying for the Palestinians , I’m so sad to see what is being happening to so many innocents .🙏🏽

Me too. With all that is happening in Gaza, I started thinking of this beautiful boy. I remember seeing this video and seeing how terrified he was. The soldier that shot him was never charged. Can you imagine being his mother or father knowing their will not be justice in this world for what they did?. God bless all the Palestinian martyrs fighting the zionist, racist entity. Such a huge injustice.

I saw it in the news as a child, it's still haunting me, i couldn't sleep for days and had nightmares. I know why im still traumatised by it , i just witnessed pure evil . I still cry to this day when i think about it.

I still remember theses images - those pictures are burnt forever in my memory - since that day I do understand opression, message control and right wing politicians. They are still in the government, supported by western leaders.
