I’ve been listening to audio books everyday for about 5 years and Robin Miles is hands down the greatest narrator I’ve heard. The depth and nuance she brings is staggering.

fascinating insight on how to narrate an audiobook with authenticity. Knowing Miles leant in to deliver the second-person section explains so much of how it manages to feel so tender despite the inherent distance.

I can't get enough of this book. I'm halfway through The Fifth Season and I am blown away. The world that Jemison has created and the storylines are mesmerizing. Miles is able to deliver this epic saga with such command it makes it impossible to press pause. I seriously have minor withdrawal when I have to pause this story and go to work or to sleep. AMAZING!

This series was the first series I've heard Robin narrate, but damn. She is amazing. This series is spectacular anyway. The narration is equally as beautiful

She has soul in her narration.

I see the point of the 2nd person coming across as pretentious. I really had a hard time getting into the story specifically for this reason as I had this impression that the narrator was god like. I was very annoyed by it during the first book but now that I'm reading the second one, I'm loving it.

Promoting an internet bully, nice. NK Jemisin punches down at people on social media and has no remorse. Her writing is mediocre at best, too.
